My missus just got rid of her 09 2.0Tfsi tt it was nothing but trouble the door seals leaked I had to suck nearly 2 gallons of water out of the carpets after heavy rain overnight the dashes play up (probably due to all of the water in the car) the ignition switches play up which you can get cheap but are a pig to get to and the standard speakers are crap wouldn't buy one again it was just one thing after another..

My wife has a bit of a colour naming thing going on her red vtec prelude she called red, silver 325 M sport called silver and this one may be a bit iffy her new black Z4 M Sport she calls you guessed it blackie I call my Z Christine after she tried to crush me to death

if i sell it will be as a load of pipework+ miscellaneous bits a turbo and an intercooler maybe even an ecu as i have a spare not as a ready to go turbo kit some of the welding especially the ally is crap but if i do it will be to someone with sufficient skills to install and fabricate the mounts for the intercooler etc and if i do it will be a few hundred not thousand to a good home.

if you want to check before you spend your hard earned swap the 2 post cat sensors and see if the fault code changes to the other side

This is pretty much the finished setup minus the small ally sump for the turbo drain I would have taken a few final photos for you but it's all removed now just a turbo an intercooler and a big pile of pipework in the corner of my garage not sure what I'm going to do with it all yet it has to go it's in the way. so the Z now has a dual hks type exhaust, high flow cats, phenolic inlet spacer and the fuel return system and I'm still using the utec ecu so pretty stock for me until I start the individual throttle body setup when the weather improves.

Just got all of the polyurethane bushes for my Z today I had a look around the forum to see what bushes I might encounter problems with but couldn't find much couldn't find anyone changing them all maybe I didn't look hard enough so I'll try to document the whole lot. The rear bushes may be a bit rushed as I have my MOT on march 5th and one of the rears is completely shot so won't pass just hope it doesn't snow as I have to work outside oh and i'm going to put off the diff mounting bushes until summer cos they look like a right pig to do so this is the complete set quality looks good the inside of the bushes have a knurled surface similar to the super pro to help retain the grease and reduce friction 2 x 281719B Front anti roll bar bush 2 x 281720B Front lower inner arm bush 2 x 281721B Front lower outer arm bush 2 x 281722B Front radius arm bush 4 x 281723B Front upper arm bush 2 x 281724B Rear trailing arm front bush 2 x 281725B Rear trailing arm rear bush 2 x 281726A Rear lower link inner bush SPORT 2 x 281727B Rear lower link outer bush 2 x 281728A Rear lower arm inner bush SPORT 4 x 281729B Rear suspension bus 4 x 281730B Rear upper arm bush 2 x 281731B Rear anti roll bar bush 2 x 281732B Rear beam front bush 2 x 281733B Rear beam rear bush 2 x 281734B Rear diff mount - front bush 1 x 281735B Rear diff mount - rear bush also includes silicone grease I won't get started on this for a couple of weeks as I have other stuff to do so don't expect any updates till then.

My wife's had a few of the cheaper branded and chinese unbranded none of which were very accurate or lasted very long she now has a garmin not sure which one and i have a fitbit surge with gps which have all of the features we need and have worked perfectly for the last year personally I'd go with one of the better quality branded versions and that's not snobbery I've quite happily put cheap chinese turbo's and other parts on my Z which have proven to be reliable (so far) -

I got a violin for Christmas I've been talking about learning a musical instrument for years but my right wrist is fused together with lots of screws and bits of titanium so doesn't move much so lots of instruments were out of the question my missus obviously decided i'd thought about it long enough.

I know that feeling working with guys with younger kids i've volunteered to do the christmas standby for most of the last 15 yrs but now their kids are all mid to late teens and don't want to know them! so now they're all fighting over who gets to do it so Christmas off for me.Happy Xmas guys (or should that be Zmas )

my thoughts exactly this is what i like to see just the motivation i needed to pull the turbo setup off my Z and get on with the individual throttle bodies almost brings a tear to my eye
