  1. If we're on this subject I think you have to take each engine on an individual basis, my Z as standard sounded great just a little muted, with the japspeed exhaust it sounded crap with the japspeed with the resonator I added and individual throttle bodies it's sexy as hell but my point is it's still the same engine the details make all the differance.
  2. look foreward to it also see you have a little galss of something to see you through the inevitable hard times ahead.
  3. could I'm not adverse to the cold the Pi**ing rains another matter
  4. Damn just realised I didn't give you any grief I must be slipping
  5. No problems still going to take my Z for a good run in the morning as I need to open it up a bit to tune up the top end, might still end up there anyway weathers gonna get worse from here on out so maybe we need to get a definite meet sorted for spring ?
  6. Yea just a bit it's the injectors and fuel rails that will be the biggest issue, need to get some time to have a good measure
  7. preliminary measurements with the v10 throttle bodies don't look good at the very least it's going to be very very very tight there might even be another very in there, worst case is I use a similar format to what I have right now but with a cnc machined maniifold to go on top of the inlet manifold this will address most of the things I dont like about my current setup which is the mounting of the throttle bodies
  8. are you still going to the museum of power next sunday if you sell the BM before that we won't have your BGW to shelter under if it rains
  9. "Made some more progress on the boot" ? what are you talking about you don't seem to have a boot anymore Nice work though look foreward to seeing the finished article.
  10. Oh hang on a minute is this why your photo's are so blurry so the duct tape can't be seen
  11. I personally think it starts around colchester after that people start to talk funny
  12. Rubbish , I've seen some of your work if it's done with duct tape can you get me a couple of rolls and it won't be over engineered it will be engineered to the minimum level that my OCD will allow
  13. Thats ok we won't hold it against ya
  14. The throttle bodies arrived today and I've stripped and cleaned them already and done some measuring and the 350 injectors are the same diameter as the bmw ones so thats one less thing to think about the next bit is where it gets hard and all 3 Dimensional my head hurts already.
  15. They all move together and yes it's much more responsive, you dont have the issues of cylinders getting differant amounts of air (as long as you syncronise them properly ) look at the DE plenum thats why people use a plenum spacer, driveability is awesome as is the induction sound and they look so bloody Cool
  16. The new throttle bodies didn't work out so now have a set v10 bmw ones on order. And I'll have some spares gives me room to screw it up Hmmm
  17. Just to keep you updated I have new throttle bodies on the way for my re-design the new ones are 2mm bigger from a Triumph 955i can't get much done untill they arrive
  18. The rear sensors don't actually have any impact on the running of your engine I think their sole purpose is for monitoring ie telling you your cats aren't working which is why they bring up errors sometimes with hi flow cats as they are usually less efficient
  19. That would be brilliant Thx
  20. NHS

My wife is an assistant director of finance in a high profile hospital and every day she comes home to rant about how much money is being wasted within the nhs especially on temporary staff some several bands below her earning twice as much and doing bugger all luckily for me this is being addressed (one less rant to listen to ) She's worked in the NHS for 30 yrs starting out as a nurse and she loves working in the nhs and she works really hard to make it work, she spends 9-10 hrs at work then comes home and carry's on for an hour or two in the evenings so it's not just the clinical staff who work hard but sadly there's only so much money and the goverment hold the purse strings
