  1. Cash waiting and i need these pretty urgently mate...
  2. Erm, sorry but has everyone just had a taste bypass? The car looks like the worst pastiche of korean generica imagineable and the interior is also completely devoid of any character, like a jap wagon from the early nineties. I am sure that it is a great motor and that "midnight aubergine" hue is nice, but let's not get dewy eyed because it's a Nissan underneath. This is just my opinion, not wanting to wee on anyone's parade....
  3. Nice sound but a bit "old". like this one though... http://www.autotrade...age/2?logcode=p Looks pretty good with a black interior and blue paint. Not a fan of split rims though - too "pharmaceutical distribution executive" for my tastes and would swap those for standard turbines. £1700 for an ABS pump gives you an idea of the costs you're facing at this level of the market. It's a £100k car after all. The Bangle M6 is gash - I assume we're talking about a proper M635 instead? http://www.classicheroes.co.uk/cars-for-sale/2063/bmw-m6-highline DT
  4. SL55 AMG? Or is that a bit gangsta?
  5. Wow a whole 17 convertible 370z sold. Does that make it the rarest sports ragtop from any volume manufacturer in the world? The F-type is quite nice but as others have commented if I were dropping that sum I'd be looking at a rusty old Gaydon V8 or V12 instead.
  6. What he said ^ Record the mileage before you leave it with them!
  7. Can you send me some pics of the deflectors please, bodyshop being useless...(sorry)
  8. Yep, I've had to replace everything barring the side impact sensor and bags. FYI it appears that my zed (UK 2005 GT) doesn't have a front impact sensor on the bulkhead. The SRS module next to the gearstick detects rapid deceleration and deploys the airbags on that basis.
  9. Sorry A9H, no pic of the deflectors - I'm going by the bodyshop's description which is potentially erroneous. They're not Zed specialists and might be referring to the slam panel or some other component. Been a nightmare this has, sincere apologies for all this faffing around. It's driving me mad too...
  10. In that case I'll take the headlamp bracket - £30 delivered sound ok?
  11. Let's keep it simple - how much for both air-deflectors? Re the other bits it looks like I need #6 & #7 in the pic. I no longer need the poly insert or fluid bottle. Thanks
  12. Hi Keyser just a quick one. I also had a front impact and was wondering if any of these bits survived your collision intact?: Front bulkhead airbag sensor (new/unused obviously) "Unrecorded" / fresh SRS ECU module (it seems that my existing one can be "flashed" for £30 so I'm not sure if you can beat that price?) Driver side headlamp fixing bracket (was cracked during impact) Radiator fixing bracket (the plastic bracket that holds it in place has cracked along the driver's side) The front bumper's air-deflecting plastics which sit behind the it and channel the flow towards the radiator Thanks, Alexander
  13. Let me know dude Ninja, here's an updated damage list from the bodyshop and I'd be grateful if you could tell me if you have any of these bits: Front bulkhead airbag sensor (new/unused obviously) "Unrecorded" SRS ECU module (it seems that my existing one can be "flashed" for £30 so I'm not sure if you can beat that price?) Driver side headlamp fixing bracket (was cracked during impact) Radiator fixing bracket (the plastic bracket that holds it in place has cracked along the driver's side) The front bumper's air-deflecting plastics which sit behind the it and channel the airflow towards the radiator Thanks, DT
  14. KT350, I'd be grateful if you could quote me for the following if you have any of these bits to sell: Front bulkhead airbag sensor (new/unused obviously) Driver side headlamp fixing bracket (was cracked during impact) Radiator fixing bracket (the plastic bracket that holds it in place has cracked along the driver's side) The front bumper's air-deflecting plastics which sit behind the it and channel the flow towards the radiator Thanks, DT
  15. your not going to continue using the sensor used in the incident? Definitely not - they're only a few quid and the whole front section is being replaced, basically. I have seen people offering re-set services for SRS modules on t'internet (for about £45) so I'm guessing a new unit would be unnecessary. Just trying to make sure though...
  16. Good point @ aliveboy, that would be an expensive mistake, though i'm guessing more of a risk if the airbag sensor on the bumper is still sending out an "impact" signal.
  17. PMSL @ Russ!! Dude I was joking, the unit's a few hundred quid but still rather a lot for a circuit board that still works perfectly!
  18. Just had a chat with a Nissan tech who claimed that the airbag ECU / SRS module (the one next to the gearstick) needs to be replaced after airbags have fired, regardless of whether the unit itself has been physically damaged or not. I'm very surprised to hear that it can't be re-set using the nissan consult / OBD thing. Is he just trying to make me shell out £40,000 for a new unit? What's the deal?
  19. Haha i will have the cash in a couple of weeks bro, but how am i going to hide a bright yellow zed from my friends and family (told them i`m stone cold broke)?! Will admit i am seriously tempted, but will never hear the end of it and i`d probably get kicked out of home. Btw deets re location, tyre choice, uprev status and service history would be welcome, along with some less...."arty" photos
  20. Looks great in attitud' yella. Rummaging around sofa for £18k....
