1. Keira Knightely 2. Gal Gadot 3. Shakira 4. Yvonne Strahovski 5. Emilia Clarke Well, you did ask and I do have a list Dear NSA, this guy keeps a "babes I'd like to bone" spreadsheet. Scramble the black helicopters.

With an extra game or two, spare controller and a few other choice peripherals there isn't much change left from half a ton.

Sorry; Pro-Jector

Utterly pointless thread but feel compelled to provide some equally useless content. A bit like asking which five women you'd most want to sleep with (only FIVE?). Most of the selection purely to gaze at and wax, and one or two to drive: Bugatti Atlantic / Type 57SC - to gaze at and be part of an extremely select clique who have owned one Bentley Embiricos - to lovingly kiss and caress Benz 300SL Gullwing - because it's the original supercar? Shelby Cobra - for the ultmate lesson in driving technique? Singer 911 - probably the Mexico as a practical but awesome retro daily driver With apologies to Aston Martin, Ferrari, Alfa, De Tomaso and De Lorean!

Not denying Titanfall is prettier but I'm running a PJ @ 800 x 600 so I'm more interested in "next gen gaming experiences" rather than polygon count. I've clocked so many games or multiplayed them to death after eight solid months of unemployment that I thought it might be time to invest in the One. But I came out with Portal 2 (disappointing thus far) and Tomb Raider (yet to play). Also baulking at having to pay £60 odd quid for a spare controller...

Went into Game the other day with the intention of buying the XB1 but came away empty handed - still no decent proprietary titles for it that I can't get on the 360. I know it's early days but when is it getting some killer aps? Destiny looks interesting but not "WOW OMG have to spend £500 on this system" interesting. DT

2.1 seconds? 2.1 seconds? Forget being faster than an F1 car, it's faster than an F35!

Looks interesting though. I'd just re-badge and have the roof/boot in black carbon effect rather than the bonnet. Dude loves his motor!

Is it getting enough air / cooling effect through that small aperture in the front bumper? Looks rather small...

2nd Cars, what have you had remapped for best performance and economy?
Dynamic Turtle replied to Flex's topic in Other Cars
I used a 2014 manual fiesta (1.0 non ecoboost) petrol for a month and averaged 45mpg ragging it like the hire car it was. Horrid spongy thing to drive but the 3 cylinder engine was pretty smooth. You have to consider the additional purchase costs, insurance and maintenance in the fuel economy calculation etc so run the numbers carefully. -

How old is it dude? It's a 53 plate, bought it 3yrs ago, one owner 40k miles, now has 103 k on it , I imagine the newer ones are even better ! Last week I did 1200 miles and it averaged 77mpg, on the obc and backed by a manual calculation Jesus H Christ. Makes you wonder why we're bothering with all this electric vehicle nonsense... -
Given that you survived a collision at this speed without ending up in a very awkwardly-shaped coffin, I'd put you in the "lucky" camp and therefore almost certain to get a good deal buying a Cat D Zed.

A bit of a silly question.... what speeds for what gears?
Dynamic Turtle replied to ostego's topic in 350Z General
Wow that's low - 6th feels more comfortable over 65mph to me (with a DE remapped to 285bhp). The engine appears to labour under 2250rpm which is my preferred gear change threshold from 6th < 5th. -
Very nice engine bay - clearly a labour of love.
-
Also check that both of your radiator fans are spooling up and maintaining the correct RPM as these are obviously rather useful in keeping fluids cool in stop-start traffic, on hot days!

The CSL is a focused track weapon rather than a grand tourer so that's to be expected, no? I don't think I'd want to do a Eurotour in one either, nor anything with massive amounts of supercharge whine (like my friend's epic but deafening exige 320s!).

The 996TT is a Mezger unit and supposedly hardier than its NA equivalent. Well done re the Cayman - the issue with reliability is that they don't seem to go "slightly wrong" - when they go it's a catastrophic £8-10k bill sort of thing. I'm amazed the scored bore issue is still with us on the gen 2s

I wasn't a fan of autos until I drove a pdk. It's a awesome gearbox and nothing like a playing video game. I floored one in 7th gear at 100mph and it dropped to 3rd with a boom. They're truly brilliant. As for the e92 being the same package as a e36! That's crazy. One has a 3.0 (or 3.2 evo) straight 6 and the other has a epic 420bhp v8 and a gearbox as good as a pdk (dct). Even if Nissan did make a 400z it'd be a heavy lump like a 350 or 370. The porsche is so well balanced and handles much better. Having said that I wouldn't have a pre 09 cayman s without porsche warranty. The reliability is awful compared to a Nissan. They are a seriously flawed car. I know paddles (and smg) is a motorsport thing and all performance cars are going to have them in future - helps with driving on the limit apparently (how did race drivers of yore cope without them? Hmmm...), but the steady encroachment of driver aids is diluting the purity of the experience and isn't PDK is another "involvement factor" removed? I'm sure self-driving cars would be a wonderful high speed roller-coaster experience a la Minority Report but now we're talking about a different hobby entirely and not something involving mastery over / taming of a machine that wants to rip your head off. Porsche are unreliable but given some of the costs 370z owners have experienced with failed gearboxes for instance (long thread here somewhere) I'd also be inclined to buy warranty cover regardless of the nissan badge. re the BMWs - 310bhp straight six in a 1450kg car or 420bhp V8 in a 1600kg car? I just don't see how that's an improvement regardless of the figures you'll be spending more on tyres/pads/discs and (probably) pulling similar or lower Gs through corners? And there's nothing wrong with six cylinders - the 3.8 911 or VQ38 being cases in point.

Hmmm, not far from Hastings... -

As Arran says what you REALLY want is a nice 4-barrel carburettor or specially tuned velocity stacks... -

Re the CSL we're talking about a much more expensive car to begin with so you're not comparing kumquats with kumquats. You can get a half decent induction sound on the HR with the right boxes (admittedly not carbon fibre like the CSL) and plenum upgrades. The zed has a fantastic sounding exhaust to begin with and I don't honestly think you need to spend that kind of money to get something naughty - my "subdued" Milltek/Berk DE gets plenty of comps and cost <£1200. -
Then again there's the price comparison thing with the Cayman - if Nissan manufactured a "400z" with an RRP of £50k I'm sure it would be as good as a Cayman. And if auto/paddles is your scene then you might as well be playing Forza. Isn't the E92 exactly the same as an E36 but in a much heavier and more expensive package?
