Just A quick note as I traveled up from south mimms to Milton Keynes today, this happens to be the same road we will be using. I'm sure we will all be driving sensibly and all that, but as a heads up, on almost every other gantry on the M1 there are either gantry cams, or those stealth cameras like are in the M25. There is also currently a 2 mile average 50 zone part way up. I wouldn't want anyone getting a ticket on the way to the show so thought I'd leave it in here.

I asked this earlier, the consensus being that getting 80+ cars to meet anywhere is basically impossible, let alone getting into the track. There's a few regional meet up/convoy threads in this forum where smaller groups of cars are meeting up.

6:30 at south mimms is good for me too. Where are we meeting? There are about 8 spaces in the BP garage which may be easier as the main car park has speedhumps which I know for a fact I cannot clear 😅

Sorry guys didn't see the replies. Yes they will clear Brembos, they were removed from my 2004 GT (which has brembos) The wheels are in claydon nr Ipswich, but as mentioned I can get them to Chelmsford (where I live) with a bit of notice.

I know this thread is a couple of weeks old, but thought id add my 2p here. Mine a 2004 UK spec GT, UpRev'd last year at Abbey. When doing the map on the Dyno I noticed the popping noise (see sig for exhaust spec) and I was asked if I wanted it left in, or taken out. Obviously I left it in! My cats are more free flowing than standard, but even with them, and the exhaust silencers fitted (4 inch down to 1 inch) I still get some small rumbles when on low throttle (as Mark has said), I haven't noticed anything meaning I have to be between 2.5 and 4k RPM, but ive never taken much notice. With the baffles out, and in a tunnel, it literally sounds like a machine gun YOur call at the end of the day, but I went for it

Hi all, Probably the wrong time of year to be selling these, but ive just dug them out of the back of the shed! (after removing all the spiders that lived in there rent free over the winter! I have here 4 of the standard 18 inch 350z base model alloy wheels. I replaced them on my car with some new wheels almost a year ago now and these have remained off the car ever since. I have fitted them with winter tyres, namely the Kumho l'Zen KW27 which have 4/5 stars on tyre reviews http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Kumho/IZen-KW27.htm They were fitted for a total of about 6 months over a period of 2 years, and then i decided the cost of swapping tyres twice a year was stupid so they were just fitted to these wheels when i had no use for them as a backup plan. I now have a car to use as my winter vehicle so these are just left with no use. The wheels are all in pretty bad condition and need refurbing if you plan to use them as daily wheels, but for winter runaboits they will be fine. They have been stored at correct pressure for almost 12 months are are still nice and firm so the wheels dont have any issues, none of them are warped, just curb damage. As for tread, i know the standard measure is a 20p, but i only had a 50, and as you can see they have loads of tread left, sorry but i had nothing to actually measure them with! Im looking for abour 200 for the lot. Im not looking to post, but if the buyer wants to arrange something then theyre more than welcome. The wheels are located close to Ipswich in Suffolk, i could (with a bit of notice get them back home to Chelmsford in Essex if that helps anyone out). The tyres alone are around 90 each, so i think 200 for the entire lot with the wheels is pretty decent. Photos below, and let me know if you have any questions. I can also include the standard bolts and lockers that go with these wheels at no extra cost if required by the buyer. Note for mods: i have included the piece of paper with my name on in the first two photos, but it was getting in the way in later shots. It should be clear from the background however that these are all taken in the same place.

Will this convoy be passing anywhere near Chelmsford? I'm currently looking at making the journey on my own! Would be nice to travel in convoy with some others, I'd probably be heading down to the M25 to join the M1 I'd guess so can meet at some services somewhere if you guys don't mind meeting somewhere? I booked a stand pass anyway as its free, but if you guys all have show standard cars then il be a bit of a sore thumb ! haha Also, im coming from Essex, Chelmsford, but are we meeting up anywhere close to the circuit to convoy to the club stand as a large unit? I dont know whats happened in previous years, but therrs a large Tesco's in Towcester, only a few miles away, postcode is NN12 6PF Perhaps the OP could update the original post with details when something is decided?
