  1. Cheers buddy. Works for me as my daily as its pretty stock below 2.5k and no drone. Then if you want some fun it has some umph!
  2. Tyres seem to be Federal not Bridgestone Probably would help giving the sizes too mate!
  3. The above will sound similar to this....Cobra would be deeper/louder.
  4. Totally different kettle of fish!
  5. First question I would ask is can he do a mandrel bended system? (not crushing the pipe for angles). MIJ has a really good reputation and TBH from the power flow system on my Yaris I would never go back there. Most are franchises so he might be good but from what you have said so far I doubt it!
  6. You managed both Merc world and this one...must be constantly hitting refresh
  7. After spending the last two days in Glasgow it definitely ain't 'sunny' Grey is a word I would probably use. Looks like I will be up here every other month, going to drive next time as not a fan of this taxi malarkey. The scotts are definitely a friendlier bunch though
  8. Not sure if it is or ifs taken a little soft or maybe photobucket compression didn't agree too well with it. Honestly can't say without seeing the original. As for number 2, who owns that car? I agree with LRF4N about the angle, it's also a little too close to the corner for my liking. Remember the Rule of Thirds! 2 is mine from many moons ago. It was the last time a 'proper' photo was taken other than on my drive way in a puddle of its own filth
  9. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/370z/nissan-370z-z34a-v6-gt------------------2009/1858840?isexperiment=true&utm_expid=73689293-28.GwaTIa0tTx6mQ1ehYJDijg.1&utm_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pistonheads.com%2Fclassifieds%3FCarTypeFF%3DANY%26Category%3Dused-cars%26Consumption%3DANY%26FuelType%3DANY%26M%3D1192%26NoDoors%3DANY%26SortOptions%3DPriceLowToHigh%26Transmission%3DANY Its local to me....I was tempted myself TBH!
  10. Welcome. Best value modern performance car I can think of! Definitely do it
  11. massively different insurance costs. The cars are 'worth less' only by virtue of the buying publics phobia of them It would seem with those two statements you are only perpetuating myths you read on the web. I bought a zed not 6 months ago, i viewed many, jdm and uk cars, from ebay, gumtree, autotrader, pistonheads etc and from very real first hand very recent experience i can tell you, hand on heart, there is not a lot of difference between price and quality of either cars and insurance is a few quid here or there either way. Just did a quote £300 for my UK, £540 for Import. Not hating on JDM's as I said earlier on in this post its swings and round abouts as you buy cheap then sell cheap.
  12. Couldnt be any further from the truth do an advanced search on ebay and see what has sold and for what, not just what people are advertising them for The UK cars on eBay are pretty poor usually so thats why the sale prices are similar. JDM's are 100% cheaper, just go on Tradelinks website and you will see. This is a guy makes a living out of selling Z's.
  13. Very good price, shame the Z needs 4.9 litres!
  14. Loving the JDM owners trying to justify their purchase.... (If I was on the laptop I would put the 'Stir' smiley now )
  15. First time I have heard that! Fair play
  16. Shame but glad it's still on the forum! Least you didn't have someone saying 'I got mine for half that' on your sale thread
  17. 7k does seem a bit pricey for a 53 with 58k miles on it! The way i see it as well the wrap would add little value anyway since I'd need to have bodywork done on it to load up the kit... so it would need a re-wrapping anyway, and have never really been a huge fan of car wraps! 7k for 53 plate with 58k on the clock is about right if it's in decent condition and is GT Spec. Yes the wrap is marmite but the underlying car is priced normally. The cheaper Z's get bought and sold on very quickly as we have seen a lot on the forum recently...
  18. It's the 100k barrier where the car falls apart! Very cheap but I imagine it would be a mission to sell on.
  19. You buy cheap then sell cheap so personally it's swings and round abouts. I would get the UK model if you can afford it just for ease of selling later on! The 350 will get to a point soon where standard low mileage GT models carry a premium.
  20. Time of year makes a massive impact too buddy. Personally I think the price is about right but you will have to wait potentially due to a smaller market. You have miles on your side and it seems like you have looked after it
  21. Best bit from the ad was he bought the Z for his GF as a first car it seems...not bad first ride!
  22. Its a scam sorry guys! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/54-Nissan-350Z-GT-Z33-UK-Car-BOSE-Xenons-Rays-Alloys-Totally-Original-P-X-Welco-/200982907413?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2ecb83ca15 Car is 7k so good guess Ricey
  23. The Tradelink cars will be more expensive but then you get warranty and recent service thrown in so its all swings and round abouts. I wouldnt personally bother with 06 (Rev up) cars are they are higher tax and can potentially drink oil. I would either go fora DE which is a 53-55 plate or the HR which is 07+ (Can be recognised by the bonnet buldge). Get some links up here and everyone will be happy to help
