  1. It looks amazing, why does yours look so good and all the ones I have seen for sale look awful!!!
  2. Shipped out yesterday! Thread can be locked please
  3. The revup model is known is use oil. Personally it would be DE or HR for me as the revup isnt worth the extra worry/tax!
  4. Hello Guys, Please find below the sale of my Rays wheels. They are what I would call average to good condition. They have the factory paint still on them as the blue weighting dot is still visible. There is zero curbing on any of the wheels but one has signs of wear from tyre fitting and corrosion has started to creep in on some of the spokes. Tyres are all Bridgestone Potenza REO50A's. 225/45/18 with 5mm on the front and 245/45/18 with 3mm on the rear. Based in Reading, Berkshire. £450 collected. Can be posted for an extra £35.50 - http://www.paisleyfr...eel-courier.php Front Rear Any questions please ask!
  5. As I am feeling nice 350Z and 370Z remapping The UpRev engine management software allows us to fully remap the standard 350Z and 370Z ECU. You can expect: Better throttle response - the standard ECU reduces throttle response in the lower gears. By tuning the throttle pedal to throttle plate map we can make the car feel more lively. Also, fuel and ignition timing map optimisation is carried out leading to further improvements. We can reprogram the ECU to have a direct 1:1 relationship between pedal and throttle - not recommended for road use but can be great on track - this feature removes cruise control. More power and more torque - by optimising the various fuelling and ignition timing maps we get the most power and torque from your car Better fuel economy - some customers report better fuel economy after their remap. Obviously this varies quite a bit depending on driving style. Speed and rev limits - we can alter speed and rev limits Removal of check engine light if running with de-cat pipes Multi maps - some cars can have up to 5 ignition, fuel and rev / speed limit maps. This allows, for example, a valet map or a map for high octane fuel We get good gains from completely standard cars and make the most of cars fitted with aftermarket parts. Check out our engine upgrade packages here. You can custom map the ECU for a standard engine or almost any modifications. The following tables can be accessed via an UpRev: Idle RPM Speed Limiter Electronic Throttle Control to achieve Wide Open Throttle at all speeds Rev Limiter DTC disable AFR Targets Fuel Compensation Ignition Timing Advance Cam Phasing for equipped vehicles MAF transfer function Cranking Enrichment and Ignition Advance Injector Latency K Fuel Multiplier Intake Temp Calculated Load vs. RPM Minimum Effective Injector Pulse Width
  6. A reverse bulb! Putting my Rota's back on over the weekend for Bedford on Monday so that will keep me happy for a while
  7. BJV are pretty decent - http://www.wheelrefu....uk/contact.htm They will also collect your wheels if you are in a 30-40 mile area.
  8. I have had to go through some fairly deep water in the Z over the last few weeks. Only way of getting out of my village unfortunately. The water the 70 is stuck in doesn't seem that deep, unless he floored it in! The blue 50 on the other hand was past the exhausts which is plain stupid!
  9. Nice car! Not bad at 23 either, congrats
  10. Exact same tyres as me then, can only assume it's my larger girth Hmm, at the most, low profile and wide tyres are a disadvantage, aren't they? Honestly no idea, but wider tyres = more traction I get what your thinking but doesn't really work in the snow unfortunately. You actually want thinner tyres so the same amount of weight is on a smaller contact patch.
  11. You get 14 days from renewal to cancel/amend for free and its all done via email now!
  12. Brilliant idea - thanks mate. I'll let you know how I get on. He seems like a good catch with a 63 plate!
  13. We caved in....staying at the Bedford Wyboston Travelodge as it had a little chef next door
  14. Just checked prices for a travel lodge.... hmmm tempted myself now!
  15. Welcome! I imagine you got it cheap then
  16. Why don't you knock on his door on Friday with flowers?!
  17. Odd that I have never experienced it before...maybe it's because there is loads more water this winter.
  18. Front to back wouldn't bother me but as long as they were the same make/condition on each axle then that's fine. Yes its not ideal but the dealer isnt going to shell out £500 to get matching rubber is he?
  19. Seems expensive for none GT but TBH I dont think there would be another 53 plate out there with that low mileage. What colour is it?
  20. Had a google and it seems to do with the exhaust contracting rapidly after the water reducing the heat. Very odd!
  21. Fronts are in the manifold mate and will flag up as sensor one. Have you checked for exhaust leaks?
  22. Had similar problems with mine near Christmas mate. I cleaned all 4 sensors Cleaned MAF Checked for leaks in the exhaust/intake Took the car to Jez @ Horsham and he said the A/F ration was fine. Turned some codes off via the Uprev and its now fine. If the codes relate to the rear sensors like yours its fine but the fronts are the ones you have to worry about. Its highly unlikely both would go at the same time.
  23. Hello Guys, Anyone else experiencing this? With all the standing water we have been getting I have noticed the exhaust getting very loud and considerably deeper for about 5-10 seconds during drives. Checked the exhaust and no leaks/cracks I can see! My mates civic use to do this but never noticed it in the Z before. Cheers, Adam
