Have you ever felt it kick in? Loss of power/flashing light. Basically it only affects that. You either go a bit sideways or end up in a bush if you turn it off
  3. Yeah I wouldn't agree running costs are low. I don't think you notice if its not your daily. With my new job I am doing 15k a year, then with personal miles on top the 70 will be doing at least 20k this year. So yeah could save a lot of money buying a diesel golf but whats the fun in that hey! And performance otherwise theres millions of 320d and A4's for that money However, theres also a few Z4's, M135i's and the odd 335i, Audi S3's, 3.2 TT's and even an S5 and a few SLK350's ........... theres even a Cayman on PH for £14.5K, all with fairly low miles, all on 08/09 plates and all under 15K. I cant think of anything you can buy that matches up with a 350 for 4K though http://tinyurl.com/njklhnn PH Classifieds - 2009+ - Cheapest Cayman is 20k with 90k miles! I get what your saying about the 50 but there really isn't anything that matches the 70 as an overall package without adding another 5k. I only got mine in march and test drove everything!
  4. You cannot get anything German for the same price with same age, mileage and spec as the 70 on the used market. So fully agree it's a bargain. I like it how's there isn't many on the road so let's keep it hush hey
  5. Great sales pitch. I offer 8k! All can be fixed pretty easily bud.

    Had my Re-Map

My Berks HFC's pass the MOT no problem. Weren't even close to failing the emissions tests at all. Don't know why so many people seem to think they'll fail. General consensus on here. My friend had Berks and they didnt pass too even when hot....odd!

Wouldn't waste my time with HFCs though. Never seem to pass emissions anyway. Silenced decats so they look like cats
  8. Pov spec is just shy of 27k normally.

    Had my Re-Map

When mine was at Horsham it had about 8-10 runs on the Dyno
  10. Never take a Z to Asda's car park If its anything like the ones near me, you won't be able to get in the drivers door and a trolley will be resting on your boot! Live in a rough area then Not really just Asda's are always in the dodgy parts of town!

What were the figures then? Shame you aren't impressed but I am sure there is an underlying factor here.

  13. You can always do an advanced search on ebay to find out what has sold, i know ebay isnt always gospel but would give a general selling price. Apart from the increased performance, spec, probably even drive, the 370z does nothing for me, the new sales figures would suggest i am perhaps not in the minority. European sales figures: 350 370 03 - 2187 09 - 1032 04 - 6959 10 - 2211 05 - 5598 11 - 1458 It carries on in a similar pattern. I would suggest that the 370z was a bit of a flop, regardless of its capabilities or improvement over the 350. 370Z arrived right at the start of the recession. Where as the 50 was still the boom years. I was always sceptical of it and wondered why anyone would pay 2X what a 50 costs. But after driving the competition it can't be beaten as an overall package (Age, performance, reliability, extras etc). Just sitting in it and closing the door before turning the engine over shows how far Nissan have come. I dont disagree at all, it was a bad time all round and imagine it to be another level to the 350 in terms of quality etc From a personal prospective though i dont think it looks as good as a 350 and looks sell. Sadly the numbers dont lie and would imagine that will be reflected at some point, maybe for the better as examples are thin on the ground, but i dont think it will affect the 350 one bit! I wouldnt imagine any of the big german manufacturers suffered as badly with any of their new models and the GTR that came out at at pretty much the same time certainly didnt stagger out of the dealers at a lot more money, people were paying premiums True. Also the F Type is outselling the GT86 now and thats double the price!

  15. so what do you think mine is worth? 8K....I will be round on the weekend
  16. Looks awesome on the 70. Possible to get them in a light smoke?
  17. :sun: :sun: :sun: :sun: They will all come tumbling down again come winter!
  18. We got there at 2am Friday morning as usual and headed straight to the Mulsanne and drove from there to the Porsche Curves. Quick video of me going round Indianapolis: I forgot to turn the TRC off and had a boot full of camping stuff....but you get the idea! View from just underneath the podium for the award ceremony. Got soaked in champagne!
  19. Nope. Mine always stays on full for around 60-80 miles before losing the first dot.
  20. Yeah prices have definitely gone up. Happy days for us
