I hate to say it but JC makes Top Gear. If he goes the next presenter will have very big shoes to fill. Be interesting to see if he pipes up on Twitter about it now its been made public.

Seems like more of an internal dispute as there are no comments about an episode. Yeah it was about Japfest 2014

From reading your thread mate, when you say less than a fist to the front lip do you mean the plastic black think undeneath the bumper or the actual lip of the front bumper itself? I'm desperate to get mnie lowered but as the plastic black lip already catches on mie going over speed bumps (particurlaly those nasty black/yellow one's) I'm a bit nervous! The plastic chin spoiler mate not the actual bumper itself. The front mud guards are the lowest point and they are literally an inch off the floor. They even hit when cornering hard lol. Haha! That's not too bad then! Could always shave those down a bit, or I guess the floor will eventually do that for you lol! Do you have any experience of them going over those horrible black and yellow plastic speed bumps? I know that's very specific but there a set of 5 of those that I go over twice a day, my old 350 used to catch on them all and don't want to be doing the same on a much newer car I know exactly what you mean mate and unfortunately they are the worse. Depends how big they are but you will bottom out on some of them. Luckily its the chassis that catches on the 70 and not the Y pipe like the 50.

Great write up and a decent read my friend. Glad to see the result didn't get you down in the dumps. You definitely looked the best out there

Just a little pic of the 370ZN, happy days :-)

That's what I would say if Grundy was gaining Ha I was up with the Charged boys at the start. Think I cooked it trying to hold off Andy lol Yeah and they are small laps at Combe. That was bone stock though. Now I have some breathing mods and it's been given some decent oil, it might be better. Will have to let you know in May -

I did 8 at Combe before I hit 135 dude. It is a fast circuit though. -
I get what you mean by saying it's important with all cars but the Z does seem to be a special case that's needs a bit more TLC. Could be all RWD cars though to be fair as I have only owned the 50 and 70.

It does seem high especially as I believe WinkJ said they come with an oil cooler. The car is limited to below 6k at 135 degrees and 3.5k at 140 degrees so you will never kill the engine. -
I didn't no, as I got some second hand on here which were pretty much new. They are the genuine article though as some one else on here purchased them. Can't remember who though!

Beautiful car! Wish it was around a year ago.
-
Ha cheers dude. Very rare wheels these are, especially in Black Yeah looks filthy already but doesn't srape which was my biggest worry.
-
I pay £78 for the car to be up on the ramps for an hour. The guy is Hunter qualified and gets the car exactly spot on. This is very important with the Z. It needs to be perfectly balanced all round and not just within tolerances.

Yeah axle back is fine for some noise

http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82595-my-platinum-graphite-370z-updated-0502-cobra-y-pipe/page__st__20 Photos on page 2 and 3 for stock wheels and aftermarket on Eibachs.

Depends what you want out of them really. They give the car a more sporty stance but will make the stock wheels look quite poor which will give you more expense of new wheels or spacers. But yes ride quality is reduced. I really liked the Teins on my 50, a great compromise.
-
Those wheels look like they have been on for ages! You will need to get the old ones removed at a garage or using a nut removal socket. Then just buy some new ones
-
They are very low at the front but it's usually just the lip that catches. They are quite harsh for our B roads with all the pot holes and uneven tarmac. On a track they are great though and really help out with high speed stability.
-
Get rid of the standard Y Pipe dude its like 1.5" big in the top sections. Will definitely make it breathe better
-
Dam they look nice

Yes, the 370 is quicker but the difference does seem to be minimal and maybe a skilled driver in a 350 can reduced that further (not referring to myself as a skilled driver before you all jump on that lol)....just thinking maybe the 370 isn't the stepping stone to my GT-R. No its definitely not worth 2x the time price of a 50 if your just looking at performance. Totally agree. You taking the final track time slot at Japfest then?! haha...have you still got one left then? Hubby is doing an Ariel Atom track day this month, so maybe it could be my turn to take the zed to JPfest It's the whole having to take 2 cars (for the kids) putting me off But then it is my birthday next week....maybe be you can all club together & get me it for my b'day lol Definitely worth treating your self if its your birthday next week! Yep one space left over the three forums so it won't be around for long I don't think.
