The 70 brakes are epic, in standard form they are far better than updated discs/pads with brembo's on the 50. Probably one of the top three improvements between the two cars in my eyes. At the Nissan event day everyone commented on how good the brakes were when I took them out. I always update my brakes on cars but stuck with standard on the 70 and haven't regretted it even on track.

If your categorising the 6 series as a sports car, surely that is far more dull? What I imagined you hated about the Z is X fold on the BMW?

I live next to the Porsche HQ and the car park is very dull indeed! Half of them are Juke's/Qashqai's. Lets be real though, even on PH's forum its still a fun car.

The article is load of rubbish and just a couple of peoples opinions. It's hardly a boring car now is it?! You put it in a line up against 10 random cars in your works car park and I imagine it will always be in the top 3 for exciting cars.

I went over this many times when I first got the car. Basically if you want noise/power go Gen 3 Stillen and if you want a bit more power and better filtration go silicone hoses and drop in. I went for Mishimoto hoses and HKS filters as I didn't have 500 to drop on an CAI.

Yeah the Akebono brakes are a nightmare to check pad depth. Wheel off job unfortunately!

The GTRs were mentally quick off the line and sounded insane but 50% were very slow through the corners. It is understandable though as the 'track' was quite bumpy and not ideal for large heavy cars. Still great fun!

My car made 20bhp on the UpRev which isn't massive but as you say it's all about the drive ability. Mine is so much sharper on the track now, I love it! It's how the 70 should have been from the factory. Glad your happy with yours dude as it's always a bit nerve racking putting it on the dyno
