My favorite parts are below, he is very open about his life lol "I BOUGHT IT SO THAT MY SON COULD OCCASIONALLY DRIVE IT BUT HAVING FALLEN OUT WITH HIM ITS NOW UP FOR SALE. I have a maserati so don't really need this car."

Such a lovely guy, very sad news indeed. Martin was so helpful in organising Japfest last year under the covers. RIP my friend!

Hello All, Some of you may be shocked at the title because yes Japfest has changed its venue from the Old faithful (Castle Combe) to the new shiny Silverstone. Quite a few things have changed this year with the booking process, so please read the below instructions carefully. What will be staying the same is that we have a combined stand with the 300ZX club and Z Club, so it should be a good turn out for the Z's. New Self Service Booking System Japfest have changed the way club bookings work this year, meaning that individual club members can book their own tickets and vehicle passes for the clubs stand. Please follow the following instructions for a successful transaction: Club members must go to http://japfest.co.uk/club-info to book their tickets Select your Club (Z Club) from the menu and enter the Club's Personal Password - 215.408 Proceed to select required tickets and place order - Make sure you choose 'Club Vehicle pass' to get on the club stand. Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email as proof of payment Club space will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The deadline to book club tickets is Friday 18th March, subject to space availability. If you have any difficulties, our club support helpline is available on 01959 543 724 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please call this number and do not PM me as I have no access this year. Club Ticket Prices for 2016 Per Person Club Early Bird Package £48 - includes show entry at Japfest and show entry and pre-show camping at Japfest Rock! (previously Japfest 2) and Japfest Motorsport Heroes. Club Weekend Camping Ticket £28 - includes show entry and pre-show camping. Club Advanced Show Ticket £18 - includes show entry. We're also offering Early Bird Tracktime exclusively to clubs on the famous Silverstone National Circuit at just £30 per 20 minute session, saving £5 when booked before 31st January. The club has two allocated sessions, Session B (Intermediate) - 09:20 - Briefing Time 08:20 and Session O (Advanced) - 13:40 - Briefing Time 12:40. When updating the list please put your username, ticket type wanted and when you have purchased. This lets us know how many we have attending. 1. 370Ad - Stand Pass + Track Time - PAID

Mother of god, it seems it really does take all sorts. The GTR is a big, heavy 4 seater that feels like an A4 to drive unless youre on maximum attack, suffice to say the Cayman doesnt. 370Ad, I can see your point but what if you dont get IMS (like 95% of owners dont) .......... or if you buy a car with a DFI engine (post Jun 08)? So so wrong. Your usually right but way out of the park here The 987 is the perfect 15k sports car until you mention IMS and that firmly puts it at the bottom of the list. Sad but true. The 370Z is 8/10 in pretty much every category where as the Porsche is all over the place. 10/10 for driving pleasure but 2/10 for reliability, I view things the same as Microsoft does on its hardware speed test, I choose the worst score overall and that's what the car gets as a whole. So the second we start comparing a DFI Cayman to a 370, your case is completely shot? Good to know. IMS really isn't as big a deal as people make it out to be. Agreed the Mk2 987 is definitely the one to pick but they start around 23-24k! Quite a price jump and not really in the same league as a 370Z anymore. Saying the IMS problem is not really as bad as its all made out to be is fine on paper. But I know that every small noise, every oil check and every trackday I would be worrying about it. I imagine you guys would too... Probably the reason you went Mk2 on the 997 Ekona?!

Rather clean workshop!

This morning I got a nice wave! Spotted you twice now, once in Mortimer last week too Looks nice with the dark wheels.
-
Beautiful car and wheels but all ruined with the one word above

I would be very surprised that you can kill a clutch in 6.5k miles unless you do really like riding it. I understand everyone elses points of view on going aftermarket as its better but after dropping 30k+ on a car I would be devastated. Part of the reason for going for a new car is that its underwarranty. Just as an FYI I have done 57k in my 370 and in this time its done 4 track days/sessions. The clutch is perfectly fine still.

All about that resale grey! I would have preferred Le Mans blue though
-
Could have been her man and she is in jail?!
-
You weren't spotted by me but my girlfriend. In her own words 'I saw your old loud blue car'! I miss the noise of those decats
-
Get that baby out on the open road!
-
One of my advisories lol "Unable to see front and rear brake pads clearly."
-
Is the Z going?

Wasn't there a thread on Pistonheads a few years ago about a mapped 335d being quicker than a lambo. It's now moved over to being the 135iM, I think BMW has a great marketing scheme going on over there
-
I agree with the other two. Odd move but good luck!
-
Tell him to remove whatever is stuck under the accelerator pedal then To be fair I hate race threads but my old modified DE was the same as my mates 135M. And to the OP of this thread, put some proper petrol in and come back to us!
