    Ferodo ds2500

Sorry for taking over this thread but seemed a bit pointless to start a new one. How are the DS2500's on the road? I mean do they squeak every time you brake as that would bug the hell out of me. I have a track day booked and need to change my pads before it. Want a good compromise of track day/commutable pads. Currently rocking red stuffs which were on the car when i bought it. Quite impressed with them on the road but i imagine they couldn't handle the track!
  2. Apart from the wheels its an awesome car! Looks amazing on the road
  3. Do you still have the CEL after resetting the ECU? I thought these had built in o2 simulators.
  4. That's a crazy price! I paid £160 for my Celica T sport front bumper to be resprayed and the badge smoothed/filled on the front bumper/lip. Bumpers are quite similar sizes so does seem steep as you say.
  5. Paid. Thanks for all the work put into this! Praying for good weather
  6. Very nice! I hate watching videos like that.... makes me want to spend loads of money! Must resist....
  7. Just checked eBay completed listing's and none have sold recently unfortunately. Some black ones up for £495.
  8. Paisley freight will do it cheaper than 67 fully insured. Just so no one wastes their money
  9. £350! Crazy how much Z parts go for. When I had my Celica I would never of thought I would spend over 4 figures on a set of wheels and £350 for a bumper is nuts! But if a decent fibreglass jobby is 300 then why not spend 50 extra on a genuine. Enjoy
  10. I wouldn't be touching a Z anywhere near the 5k mark! Its the bottom end of the market for a reason. It really depends what you want the car for, if its for the engine and a bit of fun on the weekends an 03 JDM would do you proud but if your looking for a top spec car with all the goodies and a service history be prepared to pay 8k. Yes they are near enough the same age and the same engine but the spec/colour on a Z changes the price drastically. According to the info on here, jdm cars "can" have all the same equipment as UK cars. The only thing i have not seen mentioned is cruise control, it doesnt seem that popular on other jdm cars so dont know whether the jdm 350's have it, maybe someone could confirm? Yes they can have but not very many do. The most common JDM's are no leather, no brembo's and usually auto's. You could be lucky and pick up a decent spec one at a bargain price but my comment was for the norm not the unusual. Good luck with the hunt. If you stick a link up on here when you find one, we can all help you out!
  11. Personally i couldn't manage with a 30mm drop. It would look better standing still i imagine, but there are places i cant go/drives i cant get up on the Teins so Eibachs wouldn't really work. At least me and S1 HNK can provide you with the pictures you need to decide yourself
  12. Everything looks like a great fit. Nice colour scheme. Wing isn't for me either but its your car

  14. Nice looking Z! They do sound awesome with the scorpion, not too loud but when get above 4k you realise you have a V6 under the bonnet
  15. Bet you never loose that in a car park!
  16. Awesome! A few of us on here with these wheels now, glad everyone has different colours though
  17. Nothing to do with the amp I am stumped!
  18. This will make you feel better..... Some people on here pay the higher 06+ zed road tax but don't even have two cup holders
  19. Typo I'm sure - 245/35/19 - 275/35/19 The numbers you've just said still result in an uneven rolling radius between front and rear axles. This is the OEM size for the 19" Nismo's so the best size you can get for 19" wheels. What are the wheel widths mate? I would definitely get the correct tyre sizes too!

    My Very Own 350Z

With the Z buy a good one and don't scrimp to buy the spec you want. It will cost you more in the long run! Good luck
  21. Some one paid £165 delivered for this! Are they mad...
  22. Checked over the HU again today and created some external grounds. Checked all the wiring and it seems to still be making the same clicking noise no matter what i do. Might be something to do with the amp as that located near the rear brake lights i suppose. Will check over when i have chance and update. Any comments welcome!
