I believe its when the actual brake lights go on. If you push down very lightly on the brake nothing happens but as soon as you push hard enough for the brake lights to come on it clicks. It didnt help me out bud. I have spent many hours on this. Mine just came on recently btw the head unit has been installed for a while. I took it to a car audio shop and they said they had the same problem with an Audi Bose system and it took them ages to diagnose. Ended up being a deteriorated earth on the bose amp itself.

Mines using the factory earth bud. I also tried my own earth but still had the problem. Seems like a compatibility issue to me as i think the amps/speakers run on 1ohms.

This is mine with 10.5 J ET20 on the back. Running 275 width tyres so slightly stretched. Obviously your tyre would stick out another 5mm each side but the wheel in theory should be further in the arch. Have you got any photos as it shouldnt stick out further than the arch.

There are a couple of thread's on the US forum. I am beginning to think its an incompatibility issue between the bose amps and the new HU. As you have now noticed you have to turn the volume quite high on the new HU to get any output.

No one really want the old JDM ones with loads of miles. People would rather pay the extra $ for a decent one. It just means there will be a bigger divide. Bit like the Celica GT Fours, there are some dogs around which go cheap but a decent low mileage ones will set you back near about 8k these days.

Thanks very much.I've always been a massive fan of the V2 so I could just go with the V2 front and leave the spoiler and diffuser from option 2 and leave the sides and spats from option 1 so it is as per the pictures but with a snazzy front end....that would leave enough for the performance modifications I've been looking at. This would definitely be my plan of action!

Also the tyre wouldn't be stretched as its the same width (225 on the front) as OEM. Its just got a smaller tyre wall.... I am not showing off its just logical! Everyone on this forum can see/read. So i saw that the tyres looked odd and then read on a closer picture that they were a 35 profile! Simples

You did so well with your first two posts then ruined it with the last unfortunately! With a 35 profile on the standard 225 front width then the tyres are 7% out on the rolling radius. By the looks of it the back tyres are out too so TRC will have a field day! Would 100% put me off buying the car as it could possibly show the rest of the car hasnt been looked after correctly. I am sure you will get a sale though....!

Fronts are 225/35/18's! Whats wrong with a 35 profile? Am I missing something! With the new 35 profile it makes the tyres over 7% out over the original rolling radius. You can use a 35 profile but the width needs to be changed to keep the radius the same

More importantly what does the Scorpion now sound like with the HFC's
