  1. I kinda got a bit bored with my from new 4 year old Z so thought I might check out the forum for a few reasonably priced tasteful mods to enhance my car to keep my eye from wandering. Caught bloody Zeditus bad................
  2. Thanks mate - was a bit of a job and there is loads more to do on the wiring when I get a chance but at least it's all working again. @ Andy - just thought I'd get some practice in for that little job for you this week O and it may be small but it packs a punch Just plugging in the soldering iron! eeeek.
  3. This a classic example of the woes which can bestowe the purchaser of a car with a smaller engine than the wiring loom......
  4. All quiet here in Bournemouth mate. Think we may get it later in the night
  5. As you said Matt, too many cars ,too many idiots! Buster and me had our arses gripping the seat on ever corner as it was wacky races out there! Nice driving buddy and it was amazing how many cars you wizzed by under the red flag! Lol
  6. Mate please get her back on the road soon I think we have a cougar situation here as ive been told by Katrina that that your lovely and for gods sake give that poor boy your engine
  7. Me an Buster queuing up before the 40 car bunfight/wacky races track session! Too many cars on the track at once. Mega money made by the organisers at the expense of us white knuckle riders!
  8. I've got my fingers crossed for you mate as you are the most refreshingly well rounded under 25 person I've ever met! I can only guess that nice young lady you took to wales is unavailable and not Richard Branson's daughter which would solve all your dilemmas!!!
  9. Miss you so much already buddy..lol Think hard as to what you want to achieve with the car Long term as while you have that engine out you have many options available to,you,(forced induction, forging etc) which would normally be out of the question if the car was running well and your hand wasn't forced like it is now. Sounds like you love the car and don't want to give up on her so take your time.
  10. A big thank you to Rose and Alex for the massive effort put in to get us all together and in such a much better stand than last year with perfect weather! Met a few new faces which was nice, and the usual suspects were about, lol. I am sure the pictures and videos will filter in throughout the week. I hope your smoking turbos are nothing too serious Alex.
  11. Summer! Judging by the weather in that pic he is sneaking off to catch some rays!
  12. Enjoy my friend! The Combe is such a good track and so local to us Southerners!! Shame its a bit bumpy in places which in a fast car like the ones we own can make ones bottom twitch
  13. Very busy weekend ahead. Brighton speed trials on saturday which should be amazing because off all the national publicity it has attracted due to the cancellation last year. I think i am going to struggle to get into the top three at this event, check out the list of cars in class 4! eff TVR T350C 3605 T/C B 96 Black Paul TVR Sagaris LS9 6200 (8680) S/C 97 Bunker Tony Nissan GTâ€R 3799 (5319) T/C98 Jeffrey Tim Renault Alpine A610 3000 (4200) T/C W 100 Eagle Joe Lamborghini Aventador Roadster 6300 B 101 Golding Dean Chevrolet Corvette 6200 (8680) S/C B 102 Hanson Marc MG SV 4600 103 Harrison David Vauxhall Monaro 7000 (9800) T/C 104 Jackson Nicholas Ford Fairlane Sedan 5800 B 105 James Andrew Nissan GTS 3497 (4896) T/C B 106 James Andrew Ford Focus RS 2521 (3529) T/C 107 James Robert Ford Focus RS 2521 (3529) T/C 108 Massey Arthur Triumph TR7 V8 4000 109 Morris David TVR Tuscan V8 7000 110 Kenney Paul Nissan Skyline R33 GTR 2568 (3595) T/C B 111 Nicholson Justin Porsche 996 3600 (5040) T/C B 112 Oram Robert Jaguar E Type 3800 B 113 Oram Robert Ferrari F40 2936 (4110) T/C B 114 Paul Simon Toyota Supra 2997 (4196) T/C 115 Peters Alex Ford Mustang GT 4600 (6440) S/C 116 Pryme Graham Porsche GT3 3600 B 117 Shepherdâ€Smith Mike Ginetta G33 4798 119 Cave Graham Ferrari F430 F1 4308 B 120 Tyrer Brian Porsche 911 3300 (4620) T/C B 121 Sacco Joe Jaguar F Type 5000 (7000) S/C B 122 Tappy Duncan Bentley GT V8S 3993 (5600) T/C 123 Gray Steve AC Zagato 6200 124 Bradfield Tony TVR Griffith 4998 125 Hulford Piers Vauxhall Monaro 6000 (8400) S/C B 126 Plummer Laurence Jaguar Sportbrake 5000 (7000) S/C If anyone is interested in popping down i have a couple of paddock tickets going free worth £12 each. Up early on sunday to head up to Silverstone for the Trax show which was bloody amazing last year apart from the afternoon rain! I wish the organisers of these events consulted each year with their calendars as i also could have gone to Wiscombe Park for a speed hill climb along with Gurston down!!!
  14. I have made a few minor changes which i am sure you could slide by the Mrs under the radar Feel free to pm if you need advice on imaginary costings
  15. Well done to both of you! Zeditus is such an individual illness which makes all of our cars so interesting!
  16. As I'm sure I speak for all of us Zedders. Thanks to Rose,Alex and Steve for sorting this meet out and giving up so much of their time. Just one more thing you can do is to make sure it doesn't p..s down in the afternoon please. Lol
  17. Great price bud! Got £400 on eBay for my front pair to an Italian guy
  18. I have never not owned a bike since my first steed which was a Suzuki ER 50 which with a 60cc big bore kit and a fresco exhaust with me led flat on the tank could do an indicated 45mph! And finally my baby!
  19. Well done Dave! I've just done the maths on my pathetic post rate since I joined nearly 3 years ago and if I don't buck my ideas up I will reach the heady 20k Mark in 53 years time!.................
