  1. The Silver Pheonix once finished would love to experience new roads! Subject to dates we are in.
  2. The pictures are stunning and you would think that was a modified car! Nismo are really stepping up to the mark to separate the styling of the 370 and GTR from the stock car.
  3. My hr consistently crossed the finish line timing beam at 99 mph while bouncing off the rev limiter in third at Gurston Down.
  4. Interesting question which is very difficult to quantify as every rolling road/ hub dyno will give a different reading so you never really know how much power your car is delivering, but what you do get on all of them is called "the gain". Put simply, run car on the dyno to get a standard power figure then add new mods/ uprev and dyno again! This sounds great in principle but as we all know you bolt on the mods and then dyno the car as it's an expensive exercise to dyno the stock motor and then go back again to tune! Just out of interest I looked in my rather thick folder and found my original dyno chart when I first started modifying my car. The car. 2007 hr 14k miles Modifications. K and N typhoon induction kit,Japspeed k2 exhaust. 289.1at the fly on surrey rolling road. Once uprev installed she pushed out 309.4. Your car will breath better than mine did with the y pipe and the berks so you could see 315. Without the uprev all mods will just gain noise!
  5. Wouldn't catch me being that silly!! Lol
  6. Sorry to see this Dip. We have met on several occasions and I have enjoyed your company and your much loved Z. I'm not sorry to hear you are moving on to start a new happy future! Good luck to you both. Keep in touch chap. GLWTS
  7. After the awful weather of last week the pressure was still on to sort out a way of lifting up the steel beams. I have used genies before with standard RSJs but not at anywhere near this height, weight and awkward shape so even after 30 years experience Mr James,Chris and Kim were in a serious bum twitching situation!! Lol. Bloody amazing piece of kit,and as Chris said to me you have to trust the fact that it will lift what it says on the label! Lol We done good yesterday and are on the home straight now.
  8. Welcome along! Save yourself a few quid and avoid my build/crash threads !! Zeditus has no known cure! Lol
  9. hey andy were there kits also fitted there? Yes. The guy I met at Gurston down was very happy with his car
  10. The TTS Rotrex kit has worked well with a couple of the guys I've met during this season.
  11. Good luck with your continued search Sam. Quite few of us have and are still in the same position as you and it's such a tough decision to make. Just to let you know after all the dosh I spent on the performance and handling upgrades my car definatley still moved around when pressing on!! Lol
  12. A little progress this weekend. Fitted the passenger dash airbag and cover, curtain airbag which if you haven't dismantled a zed before the detonator device is not in the B pillar as you would assume but in the roof lining in front of the tailgate! New windscreen fitted yesterday so the interior is now finished! Going to start plumbing in the new oil/supercharger coolers which got crushed on impact. Lots more to follow.
  13. Thanks for that bud. Been busy with Chris the past few months but the Pheonix is well on her way back.
  14. It looked good on the Ginger one Bob. IMO looks even better now on Gun metal. What's next my friend?
  15. Did you see Mark's post about Abbey starting to sell GTM kit again? Yes. Good news! Not for me... my car went in for twin turbos the week before that post! I waited all that time for a GTM twin SC kit, oh well. Get ready for a forged engine if you want to enjoy the full fat version! Lol

    Side skirts

I know you want gunmetal but I have a pair of silver ones you could put on after spraying with rattle cans if it's a temporary job!
  18. This is great news as it was such a shame GTM didn't harness such a fantastic product.
  19. Hi Olly! The top of the Mocal remote filter housing snapped off when the car landed which also bent all the Aeroquip fittings and hoses. GTM intercooler was intact but most of the alloy induction pipe work got crushed, but luckily my mate Jason's son is an expert alloy welder! Need some Rotrex Traction oil for the supercharger which I have found out is the worlds most expensive oil at £100 +vat per ltr! Andy, I'm meeting the owners of the company that bought GTM tomorrow, let me know if you need any parts for the SC. Perhaps is worth considering a TT install at this stage, you always wanted to squeeze more power out of that built engine Good luck with the rebuild! Thanks. Twin turbo was on the cards this winter to go for more power before I slung her upside down in the bushes! Lol. Think it's going to cost me a few quid to put the car back on the road so the budget for that has unfortunately gone. Luckily other than the intake pipes which hopefully I can get re made all the bespoke GTM parts survived the crash. Glad to see someone is taking on the mantle of an extremely good Z product which was very badly managed. Good luck to them!

  21. You,Bob and the Night shift done good with the pathway to the most envious man cave. Want this done so your bloody car is finished and out of the way so I can fit my clutch/diff on the ramp!!! Lol.
  22. A little progress this week as Chris and I have been flat out on the new Z shed superstructure, which was held up by bad weather Thursday/Friday so I had to take advantage of the sunshine yesterday to lay concrete blocks! Lol. Fitted a new lateral control arm as the original one bent on impact. Must say this was a right bugger to fit! Next up was to take out the passenger dash top/airbag unit and install new ones. I now have all the parts to sort out the remote oil filter housing which looked like this! Just to cheer me up these goodies arrived from Chris at Tarmacsportz! Once the front panel arrives from Ewan at Clark Motorsport I can start rebuilding the engine bay. I know this sounds crazy but I'm beginning to get into the swing of having the chance to mod the car even further than I would have done before the crash. Zeditus has no known cure. Much more to follow.
