  1. Plenty of space available. We are well on the way to having one of the biggest club stands!
  2. Happy birthday Will. Have a great evening. Hope to catch up with you at a meet soon matey!
  3. Hi guys. I would have organised a stand for this show but unfortunately we are away on holiday and I have 2 race meets around that time.
  4. Really enjoyed this evenings show as it's still car focused. As much as I wanted GT to be a big budget better version it's unfortunately morphed into a family orientated entertainment programme which I found hard to watch to the end of each episode.
  5. They look great Bob! Alcantara centres would look awesome.
  6. Due to a hectic time at work I've managed to book the first available slot to give the car and me some time on track. Castle Combe Friday 7th April.
  7. Old News. But timeless style and quality.
  8. Just a little nudge to keep this alive!

    Rays ce28sl

    They look good Olly
  10. Yes Bob. Run a square set up. I can alternate them to regulate wear and also the aspect ratio is smaller on the rear which lowers the gearing slightly giving me better exceleration which at Gurston and over a quarter mile the old girl gets going quicker in fourth gear!
  11. The final part of my preparation for the coming season was tyres for the newly refurbished Rays. After consulting Ekona our very own tyre expert and Jetpilot who has tried and tested a couple of track focused tyres on his VXR I came up with a shortlist of rubber. 1. Nangkang AR1-1 2. Toyo R888R 3. Pilot sport cup 2 Going to give these a go. Need to book a track day over the next couple of weeks for a shake down.
  12. Hi mate. I guess you are based in the North but if you fancy a trip down south you can take a ride and have a chat with me and what I have done with the Silver Pheonix. Currently running over 460 rwhp.
  13. Happy Birthday Ian! Hope your going to have a glass or 2 of vino. Looking forward to seeing you soon with the V8 beastie.
  14. You will not be disappointed mate. The thing just clips on! The cheap fibreglass replica ones look good in the photos, but when your body shop rings and says it doesn't line up with the wings or bonnet and It's going to cost £500+ to sort the bargain buy turns sour. Buy an original one or if your lucky somebody who has invested the time and money into a rep may have one for sale.
  15. No limit on numbers so your very welcome to join in. Would be amazing if we got a 100 on the stand!!
  16. Don't panic guys. The tickets normally get sent out around 2 weeks before the show. If you have Tracktime booked you will receive a comprehensive package which includes stickers for the windows,an indemnity form and a checklist. Don't forget to bring your driving licence along too.
  17. Great news Pete! So glad for you both.
  18. Great progress Chris. Ram Air on a big scale. Forced induction with massive breathing capacity! Think I might need a flux capacitor now.......
  19. Sad to see you go bud as your alloy skills are top drawer. What's the next motor?
  20. Thanks Kieran. The HSA puts up the competitors list as they enter which is class A 4. (2/4wheel drive). The All Circuits Sprint Championship run by the Tunbridge Wells MC which includes a 2wd class doesn't give give you a chance to check out the opposition so I will have to wait and see what my rivals drive after the closing entry date.
  21. A few pics I took yesterday. Went out in the car this afternoon and it's incredible how well the car puts down the power now. When i exited a roundabout and floored the throttle instead of the usual vague powerless feeling I used to get it now digs in and I can feel in my back the grip and the wheels driving forward! Can't wait to try her out with the Rays shod with R888R toyos. The downside is when I was on full lock putting the car back in the garage with the back wheel hopping and the springs doing their stuff my Mrs recons it sounded like Quasimodo dragging his club foot along carrying a knackered mattress. Lol. Once again a big thank you to my mates Bob and Chris for doing what they do best at the Zed Shed. The las time she was this high I was heading for the trees! Chris and Bob looking at a large clump of Gurston Down grass wedged under the diff cover! Exhaust, prop and diff out. Gearbox was next. Bob attacking the old ACT clutch while Chris looks on! Is this a genuine Japanese factory marking? Chris took the the clutch apart so the flywheel could be fitted. We were all very impressed with the quality of the engineering by Extreme. Clutch and flywheel fitted. The reassembly caused the boys no problems and the clutch bled in Chris's words far easier than expected. Awesome performance from these guys. They are out there and if you cand find them.............
