Dropping the price to £350
-
Hi mate. the gap between is quite large. Approximately 200mm. i just made do with the existing wheel liners with the help of some black cable ties! My car sits very low so you can't see them to be honest.

When I bought my genuine V3 from Tarmac Sportz it came with an alloy extension panel which joins the undertray to the back of the splitter to make up the difference. May be worth a call to Chris to see if these are available separately.

Hi guys I have some new chairs being delivered at the end of the month so my seats are available. 2007 hr Gt spec with electric and heaters. The car has covered less than 40k miles so as you can see they are in exceptional condition. Im looking for £400 and as they are rather bulky it's going to be a buyer collect or meet me half way scenario.

Thanks guys for the encouraging words. This ongoing passion for the Zed doesn't make financial sense but I'm loving it! -
The GTM Supercharged Silver Pheonix
andy james replied to andy james's topic in Motorsport & Track Days
After yet another diverse and enjoyable season of shows, sprints,HillClimbs and track days the long winter of deliberation is looming. Ive come to the conclusion that our beloved Zed cars are getting a bit long in the tooth now and the new era of small engine 4x4 turbo cars have moved the game on regarding launch and gearbox technology in such a way that big power does not necessarily mean fast. How do I justify spending any more money on a 10 year old car rather than moving on? The answer is simple. The car has gripped me like no other. The Pheonix and I have come a long way together. This Forum is the best and friendliest out there. Not sure how long a large engine rear wheel drive manual car will be available. So call the men in the white coats as this is my plan. 1. Full interior makeover. 2. Arbs, gearbox mount. 3. Ohlins shocks. 4. New seats ordered. -
Great review Dan! Do you think it's worth investing the extra money on the Cup 2 tyres as they are so good?

Welcome along to the forum

Thanks to all of you guys that slithered in today considering the weather and the fact that a lot of the club stands on grass were flooded in some parts! Great company as ever and it's nice to wander around a mixed Marque show, which is very well organised so roll on next year. Got the Pheonix back in one piece thanks to my resilient Z buddies!

See you all tomorrow guys

Stunning matey! -
As this show is not on the scale of Japfest all the club stands are in great locations. Looking forward to meeting up with you guys and blasting the Phoenix round our best circuit. Really hope the weather forecast is wrong!

Welcome to the forum! -
Everyone should have their tickets by now. Don't forget to look in your spam box as well.Kat and I are staying at the Best Western Buckingham the night before,so if anyone is nearby pop in for a beer! The show opens for us at 7am and we must all be on the stand by 9.30 but I suggest you try and get in by 8am as it gets real busy later on.
-
Cheers for that Alex. Will check out the bushes.
-
Thanks Alex. I already have White line bushes on the Diff which I have to say has made the wheel hopping worse so I'm hoping the hardrace mount will help me on launch.
-
Thanks guys for your advice. Think I may bite the bullet and fit the hard race one as the advantages seem to outweigh the extra noise.
-
Looking to reduce rear wheel tramp, tighter gearbox feel and want to go for a hardrace mount which I believe is a step forward from OEM but not as radical as a solid mount. Been doing some research and have read very mixed opinions regarding noise, vibration but also positive improvements on removing the sloppiness between engine and diff. i already have a fairly loud car, harder coilovers and a plated diff so am not adverse to noises that are not Wafty Lexus! Any feedback would be appreciated.

I received my track time tickets via email today so I'm sure our club entry tickets are imminent. lets hope the Indian summer the weather boys keep talking about comes true!
-
Nice one Mark! catch up at some point during the day mate.
-
If there is anyone who missed out getting on the club stand but would still like to attend the show in their car ive had the following email saying tickets for the individual car display area are still available. http://traxshows.msgfocus.com/q/17NybjYD8fVdPRnMVjerXV/wv

Royal Steering Wheels - Looking for inspiration / recommendations
andy james replied to jamiebridge's topic in Interior
Buster had a spare 5 mins in Cornwall so he fitted my new wheel from Jack. I went for a thicker profile, perforated pistol grips, flat bottom and a red center marker just in case i find myself all disoriented upside down in a round tunnel! Lol -
Kat and I cant add much to what has been said by everyone that attended. Big thank you to Adele and Wayne for organising the meeting along with the fantastic never ending food barbecue on Saturday evening! Bloody brilliant weekend all round with like minded weird Z people. Thinking a group buy on Bungle suits would be the way forward for next year........

Kat and I will catch up with you all tomorrow.
