  1. Ha, if her/his car was any bigger it could have been a disaster. I was driving to work this morning, stopped at traffic lights at a cross roads. I was first the in the cue but a few yards back (keep clear signs) and moved off when the light went green. All of a sudden out the corner of my eye a blue focus is coming steaming towards me from the right - I slammed on the brakes and turned hard right, I skidded and just missed the stupid f*cker. Ended up stopped and sideways in the middle of a cross roads :surrender:

Can I ask which camera type and model you have TBBK?

  2. My Nissan dealer (Benfield Carlisle) quoted me £350. All I said was that was far too high, they said ok hold on......"I've put your discount(?) into the system and it's coming out at £245" I paid it to retain my full dealer service history, but they really are chancers like.

  3. What's your budget?

Jurgen at JM-Imports has recently started imported US vehicles. Based on his success with JDM cars, they should be top notch.

Newera Imports would also be worth a shout.

Max would be £13K, but it all depends what I can get for my Yellow GT4 which I'm going to be listing on here very soon. Would you advise I send them a PM?

  4. I spoke to the guy on the phone last night. After probing he admitted this a category C, in which case makes the car overpriced in my opinion. The fact he didn't state this fact in the advert makes me wary about else he might be hiding. :scare:

He has now removed the "light damage" text from the description completely! Unfortunately I'll be giving this one a miss, but if anyone sees a Mustang up for sale give me a PM! Thanks for all your input

  5. I don't think there's anything more I or anyone else could add to this thread really. We all know the pros and cons of a Mustang, and you know what you're getting when you buy one. Only other things to consider are parts, which are scarily well priced and easily available due to the fondness we have over here for the 'Stangs, and how easy they are to work on. I'd still want to find a specialist near me though, just in case.

Thanks for all your input guys. Ekona appears to have called time on this thread, so I'll report back if successful!

  6. Nice car...see if you can find the Top Gear test they did on one on YouTube.

Was this the 1 on the latest series?

    I like B)

much better than the 300c you were thinking about imo

Yeah I agree, thanks for remembering :)

I was sorely tempted by one back in 2010.

I test drove a Rousch tuned 2007. Loved the looks and the sound. But the ride is horrendous, corners like a Bus, and the interior trim just isn't up to scratch in quality or looks.

In the end I went for the VXR8 to fill my V8 need.

    Ok, I just won't bother test driving it then ;) I can't get insured on a VXR8!

Provided you don't suffer with a bad back then you will be fine.

I am a relatively young man, so as long as my moobs don't get any bigger I'll be ok,

  7. A lot of...death... on the other side of that wall lol :scare: Looks good fun though. I remember my old car coming back up from Moffat a Jag XK was messing around and when I caught up it decided to 'play along', was a good laugh chasing it, even got a little flash afterwards lol :)

Ha, that's weird I was thinking of driving on the Moffat to Edinburgh road when I watched that video. It's a lot of fun in the Z, last time I drove it I considered recording some Colin Mcrae style co driving to help me next time I drove it :)

  8. I'm sorry if this comes across as patronising or facetious, but I have re-written your post to make it easier to read. If you would me to remove this then send me a PM.

Looking for a 350z GT pack (and hopefully Rays Rims) in exchange for my Toyota Altezza RS200 Z-edition, with extensive Greddy modifications and uber rare Euro lip kit.

I currently use an Audi A3 FSI for work, so the Greddy Altezza can now go and I can finally get a 2 seater : ) I’ve always had imports since I passed my test, but I am hoping to go UK with the Z as the spec can be great. I am happy to swap my car plus cash your way. The RS200 cost me £9000 from a reputable import centre and it’s killing me to part with it, but it has got to go as it’s not practical for where I now live; there are huge speed bumps etc. Plus, I’ve always wanted a 2 seater!

    The RS200 has only done 40k, has always been serviced with Mobil1 5w30 every 4k and includes (approximately) £5000 of mods;

Full Greddy turbo conversion (with all options)

    Greddy manifold

TO04 hybrid Greddy turbo with huge exhaust housing,

ESP for the high revving Yamaha engine

    Full intercooler Vspec upgrade

Race spec oil cooler and air INX Greddy intake.

    Full custom SXE10 Greddy emanage

    Plug and play harness etc.

The kit runs no blow off valve so sounds immense and spools boost really quickly. When you hit the cam switch over at 4.900 rpm it screams to 8000rpm in seconds. They kind of lack low down grunt but the Greddy turbo conversion changes this ïŠ

Since buying it I have fitted:

    Fun flywheel

    Exedy sports clutch

Uprated emanage and Supra fuel pump

Caldina GTR 540cc injectors - taking it from 245bhp to now a safe 275bhp

(With an HKS head gasket and a remap then 300+bhp is realistic and safe)

£1200 TTE (Toyota Team Europe race rims specifically designed for the SXE10) ULTRA RARE! Kakimoto R back box

New JVC double din iPhone head unit

    New front and rear pads

This car sounds unreal for a 4 cylinder turbo due to the high compression ratio, and high revving dual VVTI. The interior is immaculate and the under side is rust free. Body work is great for its age; minimal stone chips etc. Front splitter is amazing. I was going to wrap it so doesn’t show stonechips but I never got round to it. I can supply more pictures if requested. Car has never been used in winter for obvious reasons. Will have fresh MOT for new buyer and a service can be done also. I’m sure the MOT will be a breeze, as always with my imports.

I have had 2 of these now and the looks you get from 150hp Lexus drivers is unreal! It’s lighter and has almost double the power. Car can be supplied with or without 6k hids.
