  1. Most of the women I date are generally less intelligent that I am, I don't know how comfortable I'd feel with someone brighter than me! This can mean 1 of three things:

    1 - I'm a bloody genius

2 - Only stupid women accept my advances

3 - I have a superiority complex that means I'm subconsciously attracted to women less intelligent than me.

    I'm 28 and not married :)

  2. On the stopping smoking side, I'd recommend trying an electric cigarette; I use the Green Smoke band. While I would never use it in public (oh the shame), I do use it at home, in the car and the office. It basically comprises of 2 parts, a rechargeable battery (I'd recommend getting 2 or 3) @ £20 and a changeable nicotine cartridge @ £1.65 (if bought in bulk). They claim 1 of these cartridges is the equivalent of 30 normal cigarettes, but I'd estimate it around 15-20. Effectively when you suck on the end of the battery it heats an element this turns the liquid nicotine into an odourless vapour that you inhale like a normal cigarette. It certainly feels like normal smoking and I actually prefer the sensation of smoking these compared to normal cigarettes. While this isn't technically "quitting" smoking it's a big step. Nicotine is a stimulant that is similar to caffeine in it's health risks, i.e it gives you a boost, and you shouldn't overdo its consumption. This contains none of the other chemicals contained in a normal cigarette (the ones that can give you cancer). Here is a link to an praise e-mail I sent them after a week of using it.

  3. Hi, I have also been looking into moving into this market and after all my research I am strongly considering this:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320943589713? ... 3746wt_952

The 550D was generally considered (along with the Nikon D5100) to be the best DSLR intro a couple of years ago. Again, as others have said, hanging your hat on one of these 2 brands and you can't go wrong really. This 1 comes with the basic 18-55mm lense which will be enough to get you started and familiar with camera, and then you'll be able to decide what sort of lense options you are after. This price should give you enough of your budget left for the important things too :)

    Hope this helps

  4. Welcome along! I bought my Z from Vic Young in South Shields, not too far from you I imagine. Thankfully I live just over the right side side of the border though :) Tyres were a concern for me when I got mine, managed to get some Falkon 19" tyres for £150 (each) recently which is better than I was expecting! This is a very active forum with loads of experienced members offering great advice, and the traders on here are also excellent, both with advice and prices!

  5. Was collecting something in not a particularly affluent estate in my local town last night. As I pulled into the estate 2 rotund ladies in leggings (tight) gopped at me then as I got out my car they shouted for their kids to come see this car. Needless to say I watched my car from the window :) As I was leaving there was a group of kids on bikes who had congregated round my car and started following me and screaming at me to "drive fast"; there was a lot of speedbumbs so I couldn't drive fast!

  6. Ah well, I'll keep my eye out on ebay for a set of these! I have spoken to a guy at http://www.part-box.com and he can do a set of plain ones in gunmetal for £60 delivered. Gunmetal might be best to match the door handles, what do you think? He is sending me pictures over so I post when I receive them.

The other option is to get plain ones in white, then spray them yellow with the Ultra Paint. Thoughts?
