Ah ^^ sounds like easy way to do it actually, atleast you didnt have to remove them, seems like a nightmare to do. Looks good though
-
Toe hook isnt centre???
-
Big fan of the wheels, they do look good on the car. Not sure about the silver stubby though? Would have thought it'd look better black? But could be wrong.
-
Why wouldnt u go this route? Surely there would be no issue doing this? or just personal preference?
-
Presuming that most car faults, when explained, can still be pinpointed down to common faults? i.e. when you get a knocking noise when braking etc, always points to the banana arm on a zed. Are things like that roughly the same on each car? Just curious if i could still use this forum for new cars?

Was looking at these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silicone-Radiator-Hose-Reinforced-Flexible-1-Ply-Silicon-Rubber-Pipe-Water-/190951839605?pt=UK_Car_Parts_Vehicles_Automobila_ET&var=490205788986&hash=item2c759dd775 But im not sure on the sizes of engine bay cables. Wether to remove the black cable cover and replace with the blue rubber, or to just put the blue rubber over the black cable cover?
-
Quite expensive to be cutting through tbh. Its more just a blue rubber thing I can stick round, didn't know if there was ones that anyone had tried to use. Trying to do my £20 a month mods, samco would take me 5months edit: And I would just buy ebay blue rubber, but I have no idea on size, wouldn't want big blue toilet roll tubes anywhere, unless no-one has done it here then that's probably next option

I believe its some kind of thin elastic tape so it bends without creasing. Personally im not a big fan, but I have seen some wheels that look awesome. I guess its just down to colour of car and wheels, and what type of wheels you got.

That pink 350z is what my missus wanted me to wrap the zed in. I'd probably be able to pull it off because even though its pink, its still a zed. Im pretty sure it was so she could get all the blokes looking at her

Seems this is a community, and the other forums are just... literally a place to post problems. Maybe its the rareness of the car, which makes us wave at each other so we feel compelled to stick to each other?

Been looking at the engine bay hoses, not for the radiator, oil etc, but where the wires are. All I can find are coloured plastic looking covers, like the oem ones. The ones that look like cable wraps for behind your tv. Are there any brands that are rubber, and look like the samco style liquid hoses? Ive tried searching, but at the same time don't know what their called. Just curious as it could be part of my monthly cheap mod ^^

Been looking at the audi a5 car forums, trying to ask some questions and the forums layouts are just horrendous. Theres no sub categories, or anything. Its just "a5 forum" and that's it. Registered to 4 of them so far and their all the same. Had a topic up there for 4days now, 55 views and not one reply, and it is simple questions. Are most car forums like that, or are there forums quite similar to the zed forum? All im thinking now is, even if I get a new car in the future, ill stay on this forum for the community, forum help and sales team. Was just shocked how different other car forums are. Granted there is only one 350z and one 370z. But It was just like a child made the forum.

With regards to the wrap. It will chip quite easy on the bonnet if you do a lot of motorway driving. I had mine wrapped for 1year and 6month and the wrap never faded after I buffed it up every few weeks. Only issue is, coming to sell it. They have no idea of the paint work underneath and a higher than you expect % of garages could damage your paintwork. Also, most people don't buy wrapped cars as its a bit more to maintain, different product use, have to car more about jet washing certain locations, can always tell its wrapped when you closely inspect. But, If your doing it yourself or the cost of getting it wrapped isn't too much of a concern, just have it removed if the car doesn't sell with the wrap on. Wrapping is cheaper and gives a perfect fresh look to the car at lower price than spraying.

Looks way too big for me. Sorta like those big dildo looking ones that people have in their car. What would be the benefit to havin adjustable? I think the height for normal zed stick is ideal?
-
How did you find it in the button area for wrapping? I tried to interior wrap, maybe I was using the wrong stuff, but it didn't seem to stick properly and couldn't get a fine enough cut round the button controls
-
I thought azure was one of the rarer colours
-
gloss black is always a win for me, I don't really rate matt or carbon roofs edit: you may find doing the bonnet and boot wont look right. As the bonnet doesn't meet the a pillars, and boot ends at a pillars. itll look a bit mis matched, worth getting it photoshopped at different angles before you try

Haha I know it needs a clean cant take hoover outside as its raining all the time haha. Whats purpose of a catchcan? Blue led, good reminder I need some of them

So now that I've given up on the big modifications for car (since at some point this year ill be selling *hopefully* if i get new job), Im looking at doing cheap mods that would make me smile a little The sort of things im looking at is just temporary things. I.e. if you had a black zed, bit of red vinyl/wire tape to outline a grill (sort of like Golf Gti style), or cupholders, cubby phone holders etc. Any little cheap mod that you've done and your impressed Things to keep me occupied without thinking, why did i spend that amount... So heres my two to start it off My cubby phone holder. Fits in cubby perfectly, can open and close, and can fold up and down. Up to use phone as satnav, and down when i want to store things like wallet, phone etc in there. Cost £5 My arm rest cupholder. Cost £15, can hold any drink (except red bull cans), only issue is that you cant use the arm rest. But, its nice to have more than a passenger cupholder when your munching your mcdonalds ^^

Hot water freezes faster than cold water. I was just about to say the same thing

Im curious for cheaper mods not expensive mods. 50pound a month is a cheap mod to me, but seems wheel spacers wont go any lower than eibach
-
I wouldnt say its skimping though. Say there was 2 materials you could use. 1 is 100% and wouldnt break. And the other was made from nasa spacecraft metal that is 100%. Their both as good, 1metal us stronger but both do the job. Superforma and ultralite, are they good brands?
-
Hey, been looking at wheel spacers and only seem to be 2 brands coming up. Eibach and another (3 letter word cant remember name). Are there any other brands without the high price tag? Im presuming these are made for ibdestructableness on track. But are there others? I know the cheap 4 pound ebay ones are not an option. But it does seem alot they charge for a piece of metal
-
Well surely there would be a way to disconnect them without having to remove the bumper? Possibly creating a midswitch that you could access from bonnet up?

On laptop my IE does that. Chrome works fine. On phone. The standard browser does it, chrome works fine
