  2. Nah he didnt stop, just drove past staring at the car. Things that need fixed are... Front bumper (replaced by v2, primed then vinyled) Passenger side fender (current vinyl pulled off, suction the bump out, hammer the petruding corner back in, revinyl) Passenger headlight refurb Undercarraige cover tray replaced All in all, about 600 maybe. No use going through insurance as excess is 500, and being 23 i cant afford it going any higher lol. Now... Theres another question. Im going to get full nismo v2 body, got the usual stuff going green, with canards black. Do i go for black front lip, side skirts and rear spats, or keep them green? And with the spoiler, since the boots black, do i go for man part of spoiler black and the centre part green? Opinions please

Well that happened about a week ago, driving round corner in the rain and some idiot put a cone in middle of the bend, pulled round to right of it and a range rover going about 80 comng towards me, pulled in fast and went straight into a puddle... Aquaplaning into a signpost. Bit gutted, but nismo v2 on the way. Vinyl wrapping the front an rear bumper has shown to be too difficult so im going to go to a garage and get both wrapped.

    Is there much sound difference between hfc and decats? For 60pound each fitting for decats, hardly see why id take it to garage when they need to come off and on every yar for m.o.t
  6. wont be able to smooth that badboy lol. ill upload a pic tonight. regarding the bumpers, im looking at epracing nismo v2 bumper, its already got a gelcoating on it... is it easy to prime bumpers? and is epracing worth buying from? cheers
  7. well i tried the link and cut the wires etc. before, my max volume 50 was still quiet with window down, now the most my ears want to handle is 20, so its kept at volume 9-12 when driving. sound quality isnt as good as full bose but that was expected. im complete retard with electronics but its alot more simple than i thought. well worth doing
  8. ah cheers for the link, looking for one thats in a condition i can just swap current one with and not require spray. some stone chips are acceptable. hopefully someone who buys a nismo kit wants to sell their current bumper lol
  9. Still got more to do to make it stand out. Well I wanted n1 or n2 bumper, but because I'll eventually sell the car, I'd rather buy a gun metal grey bumper so when vinyl is removed, I don't have to pay to get a respray :/ colour match is a bit nails from what I heard.

  11. After taking it to 4 garages and telling me its definetly a nissan job, no garage can do it. Mates dads friend was an auto electrician, 20mins and he said its the air filter box touching the cables, cut a hole in the box and everything now works. Air filter was K&N typhoon

  14. Theres no stereo in there at the moment, i did have my oem in there and stereo worked but nothing else did. I only recognised mileometer a few days ago, have no idea if it happened same time. From what i can see the cables all look fine but i know very little about electronics. More just simple possibilities that it could be. Taking it to electricians tomorrow to see if their able to.
  15. Accelerator pedal disconnected, new fuse put in, started car and fuse blew again
  16. Oem stereo was removed, jvc was installed with the iso harness, after a week removed jvc and put in oem stereo, few days later this happened. No wires other than iso harness was touched
  17. Is tht the silver plastic clip at top of accelerator pedal?
  18. Ive taken out the 10/15amps from engine, but the bigger ones im not sure how to check them. I dont have earth kit either. Im under the impression is something to do with the revvs/accelerator pedal or a wire linked to that
  19. As topic says, £40 if someone can fix this fault over the web. This post was up a month or two ago but no real detail to the problem. So heres the problem Start the car up, fuse blows causing all speedo instruments to fail, heating to fail and also the trip computer. Even the mileometer doesnt move, has been ar 52999 for past 1000miles. (batt volt and oil psi still work, although battery goes flat if i keep cd player on for more than 5minutes without engine on - i believe thats because of the problem and not a seperate issue) The fuse that blows is, interior fuse, bottom left 10amp elec parts I replace the fuse and either does one of two things, car starts, instruments fail straight away Or Car starts, instrumens work, put foot on accelerator pedal and instruments then fail. Ive checked all fuses, the only one that blows is the bottom left fuse on int fuse box. I went to zmanalex and put in a new white box (the a/c control module, the white box behind the heating controls). This had same problem, so that rules out the white box being the problem. It happened a few days after i had been removing stereo, wether it has smething t do with that or it happened coincidently, im not sure. I plugged in my diagnostics checker (eobd/obdII d900) and came up with the following fault codes; P0500 vehicle speed sensor "A" P2135 throttle/pedal position sensor/switch "A"/"B" voltage correlation P0500 vehicle speed sensor "A" (pending) Anyone know how to fix this prolemo, had it before, or any advice? Rather attempt it myself than take it to dealers. Cheers
