I am a scot, so i can happily insult and the phrase "dont know what scotland is", your thinking it should be "where scotland is", but i meant it that no1 has even heard of the word scotland, so its right context

if it works the same as vinyl, i jet wash mine but its on the light spray, otherwise if can get under a tiny bit which leaves dirt under it and gets worse over time. just thinking if i lacquered it, if any of the lacquer went to a bit i hadnt sprayed, would it connect with the normal alloy spray and be unpeelable. hmm

take a bottle of water with you, with those lucozade sport caps so it pushes water out under pressure, and squeeze over the window. Problem i had with mine was when i washed car it dripped into the interior, easy fix, but something you could lower price with

Im looking into doing mines, instead of a refurb since bank account laughs at me. When you wash it, does it peel at all? Can you get a gloss plastidip?

I need to get into a routine first of all lol, hearing about people at gym or watching that shitty geordie shore with the missus wants me to get massive. in 2weeks ill go from benching 60kg to 100kg and then i go off it for a day which turns into a month lol. Kronic pump the best one youve had so far? -
Had this for years but never done post on it, but seems a few people have asked about it. So i copied and pasted from a different topic, still outlines what the thing is. If your looking at a phone/ipod holder, dont go drilling into the cubby hole as their a fair bit to replace. This is a few photos of what ive got, i used it in focus for 2years and in my zed since november. Phone never moves, no drilling or anything needed. This is it inside the car This is it removed (its attached to the zeds little removable rubber thing by double sided tape which comes off with bit of lighter fluid once ur trying to sell car) And a photo from the back, the angle is adjustable, so it can lay flat if you want to put your wallet in there, or at angle if you want to use satnav. Phone will not budge when its on this. No damage to standard zed parts. Cubby hole closes too. The only downfall is that you cant place it height ways, but it seems every phone nowadays can work satnav sideways Heres link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Sat-Nav-Grip-iPhone-Mobile-Phone-Holder-Dashboard-Stand-/190686458901?pt=UK_Holders_Mounts&hash=item2c65cc7415 For Power supply, ive used a charger going from the passenger side lighter slot to wire over, im sure if your keen you will be able to wire it through the cubby hole, but i dont use it much so i dont want a wire just there 24/7 Hope this helps

Might look into trying that kronic pump, i seem to not get any high from the stuff ive been using recently, so its either try something new or go back to N.Oexplode and its massive downers lol. Looking to try a month on those pre-made protein drinks in the glass bottles from holland and barrett. 3pound a glass, but worth seeing if it works. over a month, if i were to take one a day, id be looking at £95 for the month, if it works, may be worth it. If not, waste of a good mod. Whats the things i should be checking to see if its working, for past 4 years i dont judge how much im gaining by weight, since i stick at 82kg no matter what i do. And trying to focus on how much i can bench differs each time dependant on my mood. Im 6' 3" and gain no weight naturally, 82kg with size 32 waist. I was thinking of measuring arms, lats etc when tensed, but not sure how accurate that would be. -
can you acquer this to make it shine more? or will that effect the rest of bumper?

So excited as I'm looking for my first Z

Guessing your ex-police, something i was looking into doing. Good luck with the hunt -
For vinyl wrapping 1) Heatgun is good piece of equipment but most people overuse it, which results in either leaving stretchmarks (dependant what colour you choose), tearing or making the job 10x harder. You want to use the heatgun as late as possible. If your doing something like a bonnet, you should be able to do most of the bonnet without using a heatgun, but use it for the corners where you will need to heat it up to pull it tight to get rid of any creases. The heatgun is just to make the vinyl 1- more flexible for contours and 2- once the vinyl is on the bonnet and secure, you will go over the whole bonnet heating it, so the glue spreads around the bonnet to make each part stick. 2) Dont use cheap vinyl, i bought some to practice with and made me think it wasnt possible, bought some HEXIS (or 3m, both the same really), and then realised just how different it was. 3) with proper vinyl, when it looks like your going to crease up, i.e. you have a air bubble, theres 2 ways to deal with it. 1- If its a small air bubble (about the size of your nail), rub your finger in a circle motion, starting from a big circle, slowly getting smaller and smaller. HEXIS has air release holes which will slowly get the air out 2- If its a big air bubble (about the size of making a circle with your thumb and index finger touching), get your squeegee or a thin finger, and make knots and crosses with the bubble, so you split the bubble into mini sections, then do the circle motion on each of these, or if they were very small, just push down. These only work on more expensive vinyl, HEXIS for definate, im presuming 3m will be the same 4) If you have the pre-06 bonnet, you will have those indented lines going down the bonnet, dont push the vinyl in these straight away. use the squeegee and go over the lines, trying not to push in (as it will stretch the vinyl making it harder to do the rest of the bonnet). Just do the bonnet, then at the end, use the heat gun and slowly push in with your fingers or squeege, the indent. I am looking at doing a guide on how to vinyl wrap car parts and what problems you will come accross, i.e; How to do corners without leaving lines/creases How to get rid of bubbles How to do the finishing touch around the rim How to stretch vinyl correctly How to get rid of creases If you want to see some photos, my thread is about me vinyl wrapping my car, youll see the process we do.

i know jumping350 was looking at fully plastidipping his car, not sure if hes completed it or not so may be worth having a search for member "jumping350" Vinyl wrapping your car, it tore either because you heated it too much, or its cheap ebay vinyl. If you want a hand wrapping your car, if your near Ruislip ill happily help you for free or give you some tips. Its a 2 man job, so if your doing it yourself, thatll be why it took hours doing your bonnet drop a mail if ur wanting a hand

I like what you've done with the bumper, good thread so far
