  2. Just spoke ti one if the spraypainters on my camp, 25quid per wheel for refurb in black. 100quid for full car. Obviously alot cheaper than garages, but it isnt his paint and is on the side so ill take some photos of them and let you know how they turn out Hoping he does a good job, I dont want that quote showing all over this post Will be getting them done after summer leave in september
  3. Dont remember paying £72K for my 350 though Honestly the way amt goes on about 350's you would think they cost twice that Granted the porsche interior will last longer. But you dont buy a car so the third owner has a nice interior... lol
  4. Im not impressed at 350z round bends, but I havent upgraded to top tyres and top suspension. So I just smack that bitch round a corner and try and learn to drift easy car to drift imo (unless it rains and u remove esp)
  5. Oh thats cool. Is that app for android?
  6. Just seen cb**** sunset with chargespeed bumper parked up next to a40 entrance (no idea what part of a40)
  7. No no ur getting confused... he was driving and I was wrapping, hanging out his sun roof. But I dropped heat gun on his lap
  8. I really dont understand how much of a difference these fuels make. I feel no difference to 95 to 99 ron. And then its about engine not liking 95 ron, well why is it availible. Edit: I just read the above about temprature ignition etc. Makes sense
  9. Op is looking for the boot divider, then goes under the rear strut to divide into 2 compartments I believe. That cover is just for the rear part, no idea its name but going to call it a horizontal tonneau cover
  10. I give it a month. 5/1 odds their gone in 30days
  11. But if the previous 2 services hadnt put nissan green in?? I get what ur saying but should I still put nissan green in wether its nissan or something different in there? Was thinking of flushing out (like what you do with oil, empty it then pour a litre or 2 throygh before putting cap back on)
  12. U reckon using halfords stuff is a bad choice?
  13. Cheers guys, im doing a dump and refill, so ill try and find this bleed nipple. The stuff I have is just halfrauds advanced coolant (coolant is coolant at end of the day?) So ill just be popping that in.
  14. Noise can be stopped if u just put foot In clutch pedal so only ever an issue for me when in traffic
  15. Have you told those guys about your quote? Upload pics when done
  16. Have you tried asking to speak to the manager of the store? normally the usual supervisors and staff ignore things like that because it happens all the time, but possibly getting the manager on the phone might help?
  17. Hey guys, going to be doing a coolant change for p3 service. Ive never done coolant before but dad is convinced there should be some sort of bleed nipple. Ive tried searching and youtube, found one that said to squeeze the pipes to release air, but dads convinced theres a nipple. Can someone confirm how to bleed the system? Or give a link to a guide (Cant seem to find one) Thanks Dean
  18. 10l of oil :o that for flushing the system with clean oil, or it takes that much...
  19. bump anyone got some vinyl and bits of exterior they want wrapped? Got nothing planned this weekend
  20. I didnt no this! So why does it rattle in the first place then? Any ideas? clutch?
  21. Can't see it, if it was an old fiesta or something but why would someone that can afford to keep a Zed for 10 years and not use it not bother to spend £100 for an oil change & a stamp I don't go to garages for service because I like knowing whats going on with the car, and not a garage adding cheapo oil in and charging me 200quid. But yeah, he should have atleast kept the receipts for the oil changes he done himself.
  22. make sure u check the spoiler before giving it to the garage. I had to remove my oem spoiler to wrap the car, and I thought it was glued on. Its secured by 2 bolts at left and right hand side, and im pretty sure theres 2 of those clips that always break, in the middle of the spoiler. All around the spoiler is the double sided sticky tape which is normally used to hold badges on cars. If you use the fishing wire to try take the tape off, you will get caught on both bolts, and wont be able to get the sticky stuff removed from the rest of the spoiler. The way I done it, was I got a Stanley knife (well... the scalpel thingy) and slowly had my mate lift up the spoiler so I could slowly slice through the sticky stuff. Make sure u know its glued, and not just double sided the whole way. it is a bitch, and took me about 4hrs trying to get it off before I tried scalpal
  23. chances are the guys serviced it himself and just not recorded. I do all my own services, but I just write "self service" and attach receipts. But I wouldn't touch it
