  1. Best to go to a meet and see before you buy. Invidia is awesome sound 4k and above, sounds like a v6 but very oem below that.
  2. In ruislip, every zed I see gives a little wave or a head nod. Must be a london thing as doesnt happen in scotland when im there
  3. Reversed into a biffa bin in the snow when I had focus and left the dent there for 2 years before selling car always saying "next month ill fix it"
  4. Just read this, glad its all getting worked on now. But couldnt help but chuckle, normally if someone crashes front bumper they get excited and buy new lights and nismo bumper. You crashed door and ended up buying carbon spoilers etc lol
  5. Didnt realise you could put older number plate on new car?
  6. Bad crash but I wouldnt be jumping in to help unfortunately... as I cant swim haha
  7. Ill swap 1 for 1 if you want. Im located in ruislip near uxbridge
  8. If u have stone chips on front bumper and bonnet and their quite indented, it will show up if vinyl wrapped. Just something to consider
  9. Simple mods are the best I ran leads under the handbrake area too, the only one that bothers me is the passenger side cig lighter connection.
  10. I dont think the advancement of cars has anything to do with co2 emissions. Personally, I couldnt care too much about co2 emissions since its something silly like "cows produce more co2 than cars". Cant remember the exact fact but something like that. The reason for looking into electric etc is more to do with oil supply running out, and at the same time keeps the hippies and greencore happy. But, are the governments actually putting much thought and money into it? No. I dont think its that much of a threat at the moment. Oil is running out but its not in the next 20years like everyone says it is. Otherwise we wouldnt be driving 20mpg cars when a countries defence and food supply require fuel. Without fuel, britian and america are back to square one. So... petrol cars are still going to be the hot thing for atleast 10more years without any country flicking an eyelid at the decreasing fuel amount. And whilst theres a fuel scare, the government can keep doing what their doing with fuel prices. Since 2003 the fuel price has went down, but the government tax on it has consistently increased.
  11. Theres still not enough places to charge to say its worth buying. Unless you have a garage and easy electricity bill... chances are hybrid will be as eco as it gets

  13. What camera do you use? Gives a nice tone to the photos
  14. Oh sexy, but must be black on any colour except silver
  15. Had we not been quite so manic at work, I'd have had the day off too and done the midnight launch. I've got the Friday for the Xbone launch booked off already though Someone still on xbox :o thought every1 had switched already
  16. Im not mechanically minded so excuse me if ive understood your thread in wrong way, but sounds like when your slowing down your car is ready to stall? I had same issue when I first got my car, it had a crappy air intake in (presuming the previous owner took the expensive out and replaced with cheap). It caused me to stall the car if I slowed down too fast. I removed that intake, cleaned the sensors and the top of intake, and replaced with k&n typhoon. No problems since
  17. Looks good was thinking about giving window tinting a go myself. What stuff do you use?
  18. Gt spec has : brembos, ray alloys, cruise control, bose sound system, heated leather seats, bluetooth (I think its gt only), but if you suck at parking like me, look out for some with parking sensors. Could be other stuff that ive forgot As for things to look out for: make sure windoe motors work properly and are aligned (if window is up and u spray water at corners, it shouldnt leak into car like mine did.) Clutch is prone to go at 60k miles Check any mods that have been done as cheap mods destroy the car, I.e. ripspeed air intake can stall the car if you slow too fast like mine did. When test driving, listen to any knocks or bumps that dont sound normal (the car squeeks all the time with the amount of plastic in it so dont worry about that) Clicky axel when slowly driving forward or back, quick fix but just so you know what the noise is.
  19. I would say go for it. I only drive fri sat sun as i can walk to my work which is 150metres from my room. But if i was driving to work, id be getting a little 1litre corsa to beat up and take fuel consmption, tyre wear etc for when i dont care about having fun. And on ghd plus side, the zed will feel super fast after driving that bucket. The only thing you need to check out is tax and mpg for the second car. Brakes and tyres u can go cheap as it wont be going fast. But some low little cars are the same as a zed suprisingly for mpg
  20. My dad has a set from around 2 years ago and I believe he still has them and hasnt broke. Thats the test for paying extra, will they last and will they work or just sand down your nuts. Seems good to me though. But I prefer my halfords adv tool set
