  1. Woo also have a 54 plate, saves on the road tax and perfectly decent many years of happyness to come!
  2. The buster guide makes things louder not quieter, if you have buzzing without the mod then adding the mod only makes it worse! Can you confirm that when the stereo is switched off (power off) the buzzing goes?

    Z prices

Wheel is very offputting sadly Clearer daylight photos would help too. Most people know the GT's at the ones to go for and the price difference is minimal anyways
  4. all together it might appear solid but often taking it bit by bit it's less strong, anyways good luck!
  5. I just whacked mine with a hammer and a piece of wood, that said I didn't remove the hub side until the body end had been shifted to ensure there was no twisting. How deteriorated is the rubber? I had a qashqai engine mount disintegrate in my hands after some prodding with a screwdriver
  6. would a ball joint separator fork help? different issue but a caliper slide rubber got stuck on the missus car and I ended up melting it slightly.... The rubber will melt before the metal.
  7. the bananas are a deeper clunk while the drop links are a higher pitch sound
  8. Mines red and it's onl;y ever lived outside, considering it's 13 years old now it still looks vibrant and bright, certainly doesn't look faded and most people think it looks 5-6 years old when I've given it a good clean. I don't particularly look after it very well so It's just naturally vibrant I guess. Haven't seen more than 4-5 red's in the flesh but none of them ever looked faded like some cheapy corsa or something Red's a nice colour and reasonably rare so go for it! Even a newish one is 9 years old now so it's unlikly to fall off a cliff if the colour looks good!
  9. Is it possible to set the warning pressure? I like gadgets, gadgets are cool
  10. Daft question, on the Nismo V3 the vents in front of the wheel arches take the reflectors, on this version they just look like vents, is that correct? How are the vents/grill in the normal V3 mounted v3 here? Looks like mesh could be added across the back but the vertical struts would be more complicated?
  11. ah the wrap isn't totally opaque so the new panels would be in black probably while the body would be red and the difference would be noticable
  12. Definetly! It's more working out the budget, either I have to spray the new kit parts in which case with the corrections to the existing car panels it seems like that would eat my whole budget or correct what's staying, prep the new parts to the minimum and then wrap the whole thing in a bit. which feels like only paying to tart up 1/2 the cars surface.
  13. Random question as part of my long term future plans! Is it possible to wrap bodykit panels directly ie without painting them up to the full standard and then wrapping on top? I'm pondering getting front and rear bumpers and skirts (possibly even front wings) If I was to get the car wrapped I'd want to fix some existing paint issues before wrapping to ensure that the paintwork is in good quality when the wrapps applied and removed (few chips on the bonnet, laqure peeling on the A pillar in 1 area) Obviously if I'm also preping and paint all my new pannels that's almost a full respray and then a wrap which seems a little overkill, may as well get the full respray, however if I can just correct the remaining pannels and wrap the new parts directly without a spray that's a lot cheaper. ANyone done this?
  14. got it reached up and found the cable, wrapped in a cable tie, spliced into the purple wire and everything is working as it should! Should have kept my mouth shut then id be looking smart!
  15. Hm I've put my hands in but I can't feel any cabling behind the speaker area accept the one which I've already spliced into which goes into the door and then back to the car. The switch reversal isn't a problem just chuckling at my luck!
  16. when people say behind the speaker what do they mean? There's no wires begin my speaker! (it is the big speaker right?) wired mine up but it refuses to open or close the mirrors automatically so guess over wired the purple wire wrong, also my open close switch is now reversed, doing well!
  17. Very DIY-able if your thinking of doing it I got mine from Alex and fitted it myself
  18. sounding very much like its failing to charge! You can trickle charger overnight to keep it topped up while sorting the issue
  19. Never sure if my fans work as I've an extra oil cooler, hmmmm! Do your belts sqeak on start up? Is your battery actually draining or is it not charging? Only takes a handful of starts to use enough of a fully charged battery to stop you starting again.
  20. I had a leaky sandwich plate for quite sometime that required regualr topping up (brakeing when the oil level is low would often cause the light to pop on) certainly no engine damage but wouldn't choose to let it run low deliberatly! All seems fine now 1-2 months and oil pressure is constant across the working range

I'd be finding another garage if they can't tell you it's control arms vs compression arms
  22. Mines certainly improved since I swapped the rear ARB bushes, and replaced the banna arms. Got the shocks and coils to swap some point but it's certainly better! Both easy DIY jobs too!

Do you own a torque wrench? If you have the torque wresh, some sockets for the right size then there's literally nothing you can do wrong! The hardest part is removing the castle nut from the hub, if you can get that off the rest is a doddle, if you can't then you know it's garage time There's no weight from the suspension on the components at all nothing to pop snap or break. If your not confident then by all means take it to the garage but if you think you can undo 12 bolts and put them back then your done that's literally all it is! Use a bearing pullet to remove the old seating cones and pop them on the new arms

Up to you what you want to do but I'll echo Adrian above I fitted mine perfectly and didn't need any realigning at all just slipped them on and off perfectly. Most of the OEm stuff with Nissan is always more expensive than solid aftermarket products and for most things there's little need to pay that extra.
