The tyres are too ugly. Ruins the whole car...nay, the whole car industry.
-
Could be worse, they could just adorn them with ugly tires sic. Shudder.

Don't know about the measurement (and I'm too lazy to go check, frankly) but the standard S2000 "stubby" aerial fits, so if it fits that it should* fit the Z. What I will say though, is that the mounting point is black, so I think it'll look odd fitted. *Disclaimer, I take no responsibility if, for any reason (including, but not limited to, it being bigger or smaller in any way) if it doesn't.

So what I'm infurring from that is that the ****-yellow Proto Z should have been red (in more ways that one) all along.

Can't see them bothering to introduce a convertible if they can make, let alone sell, the standard hardtop version. Then again, they've surprised me by bothering with a Nismo trim under those conditions, so who knows.
-
Just as well no one's really buying it then. From the numbers I've seen, they've only sold 942 in the US by the end of Q1 '23 accoridng to their own group reports. From what I can make out (albeit from less reliable sources - I got bored of looking before any official numbers for Japan) they're not shifting many more there either.

Dan, it's like you didn't even read the article. It's not just 20hp. It's a "noteworthy" 20hp! I bet you feel silly now.

It's the Government; assume they're going to charge you. Even if it's not in 2025, it wont be long after. This was always going to happen. It was never a case of if, but when. Also, spoiler; it'll only ever increase in cost too.

What differentiates Goodwood FoS from just about every other motor show - and the reason why many manufacturers are now choosing to reveal new models there - is that you get to see the cars do more than just sitting on a stand. Dan is mostly right - it's busy, it's expensive and it's become a victim of it's own success. However, I disgree that there's little to actual see (although there was less to see this year as Saturday was cancelled) - there's plenty to see whatever flavour of vehicle appeals (2 wheels, 4 wheels, historic, modern, road, race, rally, and just about everything in between). As said though, it gets busy and the hillclimb (especially the shootout on the Sunday) is the main draw so it's difficult to get a good spot and still be able to see anything else. As with any motorsport, you're going to see more of the hillclimb (and rally) runs on TV at home, but you'll miss out on everything else there. Ultimately it depends on what you want from a show and setting expectations.

There's a slight irony that a 370Z appears within the first 30 seconds of the video...

These these comments, it's like some of you have never heard of the GT Academy. I prefer the Cardigan's version, personally.

Have you got a YouTube video of that so I can experience it for myself? -
An overpriced WWD scrabblewagon. The greatest front wheel drive car ever built and a widely acknowledged as a JDM classic, worth every penny of their current value and a wise investment. Stu is 110% correct to be advocating the purchase of one and is an all round great guy.

I'm far from an expert, but probably this;

I'm just going to leave this here, Col.

FTFY. -
Can you express exactly that but in the form of a YouTube video and/or several screenshots of the first thing you Googled? Otherwise we can't possibly believe you. Better still, screenshots of YouTube FTW!!!
-
Of course you would, what with your extensive experience on the subject.
-
In case you missed it.
-
YouTube bingo! And to “prove” heavily modified cars built for a purpose are… I don’t even know what the point you’re trying to make is anymore, fairly sure it’s got nothing to do with whether a Cayman is a valid alternative to a Z for daily though.
-
Sorry, did you just refer to a Fast & Furious film as a film about car tuning culture?
-
I'm somewhat surprised there's not a YouTube video on this thread. I don't know how anyone can have an opinion, let alone offer adivce, without a YouTube video.
-
Strange how they didn't just pick the prettiest.

As we all know appearance trumps performance, and isn’t subjective at all.
