  1. Trying to hunt down a front bumper with washer jet holes is a huge pain in the ass. If they DO have the holes, they dont have the metal bracket behind to attatch the jet itsself. I hear Pre-facelift models use a metal bracket and post-facelift just have one mounting point which is on the bumper its self. ALSO a bit of a tough one, where the bumper is attatches to the wing, the bolt goes into a white plastic grommet or plug of some kind ( the one where you have to go through the wheel arch to get it in or out) My old one got minced and i have NO IDEA where to get a new one.
  2. Sounds good, id rather do that and keep the car quieter although adding the HF cats will make it a bit louder. Ill do the Plenum and airbox myself, then get someone else like Abbey MS to do the cats and remap as its fairly local. how much is the Stillen Y-pipe ?
  3. Ive never been one to enjoy an overly loud exhaust, for me it ruins the feel of luxury if all i can hear in the cabin is exhaust noise. I also heard the the standard box isnt that restrictive as all the restriction comes from the standard cats. now fitting high flo cats is going to make it a little louder but i hope not too much. Will i still see good gains though ? after a remap of course Thinking about Berks HF cats and a japspeed Y pipe as well as the 06+ airbox mod and Plenum spacer Basically i want good performance gains without making the car /too/ loud.
  4. Makes sense Prices seem to vary a fair bit for a remap, the the average people pay for a zed remap ?
  5. First of all, im new to the forum, picked up my Zed sunday 2004 GT UK model This question has probably been asked before, but im under the impression that fitting these items (Cone filter, Y-pipe cat back) will make the car run LEAN, requiring a remap. Or does the car sense its running lean when you fit the items and adjust the fuel accordingly (i thought this was the idea of an o2 or MAF sensor ) Thanks for any advice. Dave
