I think im decided on black chrome. Everything else on the car is black but i didnt want to just gloss black them. They should really pop when the sun catches them and look glossy black in the dark.
-
thats true, ive never used mine ive heard back from the guy on a group buy and if we order more than 5 units, he will give us a 5-6% discount. Not the best but better than nothing as he never gives discounts! ive got full price lists for the pre facelift and the facelift Zeds now, they are both within the conversation above...I think about 5 at least are interested in these so if people can maybe PM me with the DLR's or rear indicators/reverse set up and the year of your car (or just the part number would be easiest) i can confirm a discounted price per person and work out the delivery charge. It's as simple as the amount of LED's you want and wether you want orange, clear or black lenses. Price goes up as the LED's do...

they are indeed

yeah no tint at all is allowed on the front windows. The company im going to will still tint them, however they ask you to sign a waiver to say you are aware its not road legal. I was thinking about keeping the same shade all round, maybe just a light or medium...
-
booked the 350 in for some window tints this thursday as black on black seems to be my theme at the moment... any thoughts on tints on a black 350z? Reccomendations on which shade will look the best? I want it noticeable but not silly dark which will cause me to get pulled by the rozzers and made to peel it off as i pull out the tinting shop...

new wheels and stretched tyres stripped and ready to be sent off to BJV engineering for a dip
-
i did think this may be why we cant see a fog. imports get the dodgy bolt on fogs on the rear bumpers when t hey come to the UK so maybe its not a requirement in the states...
-
I can't find a vid of these? how much are they? hmm i cant find this either now, thought i saw a fog built in. im sure there will be as they wont sell very well otherwise...
-
i would just wire them into the ingition live so they come on when you turn the key. would be simple enough to do without a diagram if you did it that way.

cheers coilover and wheel project pics to follow soon
-
$150 for these, as per dave1221's price list for pre-06 on the p1
-

-
which ones are you after? he does loads of different LED options. im going for the 26 LED panels, there are options for 10, 14, 18, 20, 26. (and 52 if you have lots of money)
-
i havent got a price for these, my price list is just for the newer shape. il get a price for these
-
no fogs are built in too
-

black badges and tinted headlights -
-
yeah i wouldnt buy these i dont think. they look really good but are just clear reflectors broken open with LED strips bonded in. definitely a DIY job if you are going for just the DLRs with no indicators
-
yeah il be up for a group buy if we can get a few of us involved. i got a price back from the top link and its a bit confusing, so many options by the looks of it. what price did you get?
-
yeah they are pretty cool, Ive emailed the guy for pricing so will let you know what he says
-
as above, anyone heard or dealt with this guy? Based in the US with nothing but a youtube and facebook page... WANT!!!
-
haha thanks guys. i tried to get Y SO 5LOW but it was taken. Had to make do with a 6 (and a carefully placed numberplate cap when the police arent looking) ive just lamin-x'd the front headlights and fitted black badges all round so will get pics up of this shortly. bought a set of D2 coilovers and a new set of wheels at the weekend too so photos of these will follow too!
-
i bought a silly numberplate for the car so put this on just before the trip to Germany along with a full service and a set of Ferrodo DS2500s. Few track pics from the ring below... got about 6 laps in and managed to keep them all under 10 minutes a lap (apart from the snow lap) so i was happy enough with my first trip in the Zed.

Hi guys, thought i would post up a build thread as ive been on here since late last year and the mods are starting to take form now! Saved up my pennies and bought a completely standard 2009 (58) Black 350z GT in November 2011. Had 28k on the clock, 1 owner from new, FSH and still in warranty so snatched it up! Here she is the day i picked her up... Stayed the same way for a few months while i decided the plans for it. Original plan was a TT kit but after looking into the costs involved and its already not the cheapest car to run as a daily, i decided against this! Plus the cost of a years insurance and a years road tax in January left me a bit short. First thing on the list was a new set of tyres. The car came with 4 brand new Alpha's on it, however a looming trip to the Nurburgring in April 2012 forced me to swap these out for a set of Yokohoma AD08's. Dropped the profile from 45 to 40 too. A set of Injen Cold Air Intakes was next on the list... Fitting with my private plate Off to Abbey Motorsport for a pair of Berk De-cat pipes and an up-rev gave me a healthy 303whp if you take a stab at about 40hp loss through the gearbox, that gives me a very nice 343bhp at the fly! Will update shortly with pics etc from my Nurburg trip sorry about the poor picture quality, dodgy phone pics!
