  4. Cats are now sold! All other items available, postage quotes available on request.
  5. Thanks for this awesome guide! My clicking has gone. It makes sense how this works, the surface rust on the drive shaft flange sticks to the bearing races. Because the races rotate at different speeds it will stick and unstick as the car stops and moves off.

Ive got some DE cats for sale, see the end of the first post: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70116-macks-garage-clear-out/#entry1045567 Im open to offers.
  7. Compression Rod Bushes Sold awaiting Payment. All other items available.
  8. Seams to vary. I have seen posts about clunking but mine did'nt. On the road in a straight line it started to wander left and right before settling on left. Best thing is a visual inspection, you need to jack up the front of the car and remove the lower brace to see them properly. Any signs of tears or cuts and they need replacing.
  9. I bought them to replace the failed bushes in my compression rods. I got them fitted at Horsham Developments and then changed my mind and went for the Superpro poly bushes instead, hence they have been pressed in and out but never actually used. Im not sure if they can be refitted hence the low price if someone wants to try.
  10. No problem, I'm open to sensible offers as well. Postage now £15.58 thanks to Bennett
  11. Still have the rear tyres, Paisley Freight is showing £21 delivery.
  12. At some stage the front anti roll bars on the Zeds were stiffened by 17% however I'm not sure if it was for the GT4 model or the 313. Hopefully one of the experts will be able to answer.
  13. Updated with new items!

    Cam sensor

P0340 is bank 1. Open your bonnet and looking in from the front it's at the back of the engine on the left hand side. P0345 is bank 2. It's somewhere under the throttle body. I had a failure of the bank 1 sensor, see the thread here. It might help. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70130-odb2-code-0340-cam-shaft-position-sensor-phase/
  15. That's horrendous! For the love of god, take that picture down.

    Fully Floaters...

If you mean 2 piece brake discs with a floating design ive got the Performance Friction front discs and theres no rattle at all.
  17. Finally fixed the fault by replacing the sensor. Cost just over £80 including P and P from Zmanalex which is around £10 cheaper than Nissan. I figured out as per the bulletin the sensor was cutting out ONLY when hot. For example I was driving the short distance to work everyday no problem but when I went for a longer drive it would always light up. Changing the sensor is easy, just push in the clip under the plug (I.e. towards the car) until it clicks off. I found it needed quite a hard push. Then undo the bolt and wiggle out the sensor. Replacement is the reverse.
  18. As I've recently had my car vandalised i feel your pain. Keep your cool and don't become the bad guy. Good to hear the other car has been found.
  19. I feel your pain, I've had all 3 panels on the side of my car done, quotes of around £500 to fix. Saving up the pennies at the moment.
  20. I had a very similar problem, changing the compression rod bushes and an alignment fixed it. I found the car would wander and then feeling like slumping to the left. To inspect the bushes jack up the front end of the car and unbolt the brace, if there are any tears they need to be replaced. I would recommend inspecting the ball joints as well. If the ball joints are fine you can can just replace the bushes otherwise you need to replace the arms.
  21. I've seen this on Horsham Developments http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_483_1406&products_id=25636 Give Jez a call, I THINK they might be the one.
  22. Let us know how you get on with the plugs. If it works out ill update the guide. I'm not 100% sure of the hole size but the 19mm grommit fits well. No idea, just happened to be parked beside my car
  23. There was a small delay in the lights coming on for mine as well. Under the throttle body, ask Alex what you need to remove to get at it. Look here for a diagram: http://www.justanswer.com/nissan/4iitb-nissan-datsun-350z-touring-show-cam-shaft-sensor.html ZMANALEX was about £10 cheaper including postage than Nissan for the bank 1 sensor
  24. 0345 is the camshaft position sensor bank 2. I've just had a problem with the bank 1 sensor (code 0340.) I found it would drive fine when cold but some time after it warmed up there would be a brief loss of power followed by power returning with the TCS and slip lights. There was a recall in the USA over a similar issue but not in the UK. http://repairpal.com/nissian-crankshaft-and-camshaft-sensor-recall-475 I bought the sensor from ZMANALEX and swapped it in. So far no return of the problem.
