  1. It's worth getting your compression rod bushes checked. Mine where worn and replacing them stopped the wandering.
  2. Top information, For that price I might considering doing the entire car!
  3. LOL Sums it up perfectly.
  4. Thanks for the estimates. No idea what's wrong with people either, I'm sure it's not the neighbours as I know most of them very well.
  5. Good idea, Im in Bishops Stortford

  8. Late last night some arsehole did this to my car Can anyone advise me on the cost to repair? all 3 panels have been keyed. Thanks Mack
  9. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Mark for squeezing my car in right at the end of day and an even bigger thank you to Vanessa for persuading him. A fantastic day, great to meet everyone. Im really tempted to supercharge now
  10. I will be there! Looking forward to putting some faces to names and maybe get a dyno run.
  11. Great car, liking to low key look. Are your tyres standard profile? They look a little lower profile than mine
  12. Just want to say this "Mack" is not me. It sounds extremely dodgy.
  13. Sorry to hear about the damage. Do you get a choice whether to push charges?
  14. Had an alignment done today and the camber on the front left wheel is out: Before: After: I went back though the previous alingments and I noticed the camber changed significantly after I had new compression rod bushes fitted: Before bushes changed: After bushes changed: Is this likely to do with the bushes or is another component worn?
  15. And he beat me to my second point, Pm Zmanalex!
  16. Firstly, Don't let the brake reservoir run dry, If you get an airlock I'm reliably informed its a real pain in the arse to bleed. If you have any rubber brake hose still attached to the metal brake pipe at the top put a hose clamp on it. If you don't have a hose clamp use a pair of grips as the hose is broken anyway. See the attached picture. As you can see from the picture I cut mine of as I was replacing it with a braided line.
  17. I have a standard halfrauds jack, I can just about jam it under the rear jacking point but the front is out of the question, it is quite far back from the bumper, might be a good idea to measure it.
  18. I've got DS2500 pads with performance friction disks. No squeal here, I don't use the shims but I did copper grease the back of the pads. As long as you have the Brembo brakes removing the pads and greasing them is very easy, I'm sure there's a guide on here somewhere.
  19. He would have done in 7 minutes flat but the size of his balls slowed him down Scary stuff, I saw a biker die last time I was there
  20. Im doing the Focused Events trackday at Snetterton on Saturday 18th, Anyone else going?
