I had bikes for quite a while' date=' last one was a Moto Morini 500 ~~~~ years ago. I seem to recall that bikes did have front number plates mounted vertical on the front mudguard (numbers both sides) but they found they acted like Stanley knives in an accident so the requirement was dropped. Just got a set of vredstein ultrac sessanta's for just over 600 great tyres!! also got a set of falken 452, vreds from camskill 452 from a place in yokshire which is too far from you but i'm sure you can find a place near you for the 452's
