  6. Hi chaps. I've searched and found a thread that links to another thread (which is now not available ) on how to adjust the biting point so it isn't so damn high (coming from my BM with a very low biting point / hydraulic setup it is a nightmare). I want to put it back down nearer the floor so that I can flatten the clutch and lift say a third of the way to release. Not a 1mm of movement about 1 mile from the floor which means I have to try and balance my foot heh. Has anyone done this mod in my area that would work in exchange for a 6 pack of beer and fuel costs? Or is there a PROPER guide with pictures anywhere to follow?

    I take it is showing just above 12v when you put your key in? Thats normal unless you can hear it starting to struggle. Im sure uk batteries are 005L It never goes up though. Sits just above 12v at all time. Is that normal then? The guague goes up to 16! If that's normal I'll not bother replacing, Excuse my zed ignorance. I've only been an owner for 10 hours (For example: It could be that all batteries in the UK charge to this level, but as no previous car has had a voltage indicator, I've lived in ignorance of this fact).

  11. That's funny. Software errors don't cause config errors. Config errors (PEBUAK) cause config errors... Someone clearly gonna get a hurt real bad for that one.
  12. Personally I'd definitely bite the bullet any buy another T1R. It's only one tyre. Slightly different tread depths will make much less of a difference than 1 tyre being a different brand IMHO.

    My battery is only showing just over 12v of charge so I guess won't keep the car starting up for too much longer. What would you suggest I replace it with? Cheers
  17. RIGHT. Took me all of 3 hours to post my first problem! The drivers seat adjusts back, but not forward. They are GT seats so elec seatback adjust and elect motion forwards and backwards. Is thie just going to nissan to get sorted or is there anything you could suggest? Typically, the seat was adjusted fine.. and then I decided to move forward a bit and it didn't work: So I pushed it back which was fine, but now it's too far back to drive comfortably (fail) so needs sorting asap. Cheers.. Based in NW London incase you know anyone that can look at it.
  18. As An addition I obviously am looking at dyno before and after differences rather than quoted stock figures which are usually optistic shall we say I guess I might stick to just the UpRev from what has been said here though..
  19. the best advice i can give is to sell the zed and buy something with a turbo then. You can spend thousands on the the car, I reckon 1k to even reach around factory quoted figures i'm afraid mate. I spent mega bucks and made hardly anything. If I could go back now I would save my cash up and go for a tt set up once I had enough. Works out alot better hp/£ ratio I want an NA car and am aware of the pitfalls of NA versus FI. Don't get me wrong. If 1k gets me even 20-30 BHP I'd be very happy with those returns. What I don't want to do though is spend 300 quid on induction to gain say 3bhp!

  21. wishbone (banana) might be damaged.. I take it you don't just mean when you're sat in the car btw re. the knock.. first port of call You're going to need to get the front wheels off the ground and apply full lock to see if anything is physically fouling
