  1. Really?? I guess durables just need changing quicker e.g. Clutch/tyres...we'll see, I'll do standard mods first and see how it goes.
  2. yeah, may well get the whole thing changed! Thanks for help guys, may be in tough re: y-pipe etc.
  3. PS. does anyone know if the japspeed decats and y pipe fit on the VQ35HR engine??? ON the website it says for VQ35DE engines so got be wondering... PPS. Sorry for not putting this in the exhaust section...my bad.

Anyone got any opinions on changing mid-pipe and back box on an '07 313hp zed. I have just acquired this car to replace my '04 350z and planned to do: 1) cosworth filters 2) silenced decats 3) Y-pipe 4) Uprev remap Heard mixed things whether changing the rest of the exahust will make any difference at all. I can't tell from my '04, thought it might have but could be placebo lol. Also, GTM supercharger for my engine...still need all the same supporting mods you would in the pre 07?? Or is this bad boy better able to handle it? Thanks guys Adam
  5. I am in the same boat mate. I recently bought an '07 313 350z to replace by 2004 nismo 350z which is modified (and I'm going to sell on the forum hopefully). I heard changing the y-pipe was also a good idea too as this was meant to be restrictive to air flow. I'm planning: a) cosworth filters silenced decats c) new y pipe and then uprev remap. Some people talk about putting on lightweight pulleys for better throttle response. I have no experience in this though. Might consider supercharger at some point...but it's a lot of work/time/money. Things are a little different on the 07' engine re: mods too, a lot are not compatible, so be careful when purchasing... Adam
  6. I had a nismo induction kit on an '04 nismo 350z (with no heat shield). When I got my uprev remap, heat soak dropped bhp from 298 (had other mods) to 240!!! After that I changed back to the standard airbox with velocity stack and cosworth filter.
  7. I've had Pirelli p zero Rosso and Nero (all weather) on 19". Grip seems prett mystery rubbish in the wet/winter. I don't don't know how much of that is down to 19" though. Wouldn't recommend them though.
  8. I was hoping to spend hundreds as opposed to thousands. Lower springs cheaper than coilovers aren't they?! Thing is I have the nismo kit and tbh, already hit @*!# all the time (not in a girl way, just because it's low lol). Coilovers prObably a good idea if I want to spend that but extra no? + bushes. Ride is a bit wobbly at the moment to be fair...
  9. I think I'll get some HFCs and remap, and change bushes at some point, use summer/winter tyres instead of all weather. The advanced drivers' course is a great shout. Been meaning to do that for ages!! Everyone forgets about suspension, brakes etc. my zed is needing some tlc in the suspension department. Best suspension upgrades bushes?? If any single element. Which ones are people finding the best? Thanks for the advice so far...
  10. I've got the 350z nismo GT with 19" 5 spoke RAYS. They're awesome (I think). Also got T3 rotas and brembo brakes all rounds (could have thought about better pads to be fair but they work well). Won't decats fail MOT while high flow cats won't? Any suggestions on which ones to get. Thinking remap after?! Do manifold upgrades increase power much? I know what you mean re: drivability, I just want more umph out of my zed. Getting it remapped massively improved drivability. I enjoy it! If it had an extra 100bhp though
  11. Hi Guys I've been tinkering with the idea of FI but figured I may be able to increase performance without breaking the bank balance. So far: 1) Japspeed y/mid/back box 2) plenum spacer (Horsham) 3) velocity stack + cosworth filter 4) UpRev remap All in all 298bhp. Any suggestions to maxmise cost effectiveness for power gains? High flow cats? All advice much appreciated! Adam
  12. Cheers for the info guys. Sounds like a lot of work. Maybe one option is to buy a zed already SCd...
  13. Any opinions on running a vortech V2 supercharger on a stock 350z with the following mods: 1) T3 rotas and brembo brakes 2) Plenum spacer 3) 3" japspeed K2 exhaust system y-pipe, mid-pipe and backbox 4) UpRev remap 5) Velocity stack and cosworth air filter (although that would go obviously) 6) Changed OEM clutch at 10 000 miles ago. I've read mixed things about running superchargers without an array of upgrades. Some think it's ok on stock/under 400bhp etc and others don't (got the nismo kit + 19" alloys with pirelli P zero nero tyres). While we're at it, does any one have a second hand vortech V2 supercharger to sell??? Adam
  14. Hi Guys Been putting off getting a new driver's side wing mirror since some pillock decided it would be funny to snap my mirror off its mount! Techincally I only need a mount but as these don't seem to be sold separately, apparently I need a whole new wing mirror! '04 z in azure blue. I did get a breaker down to £130 but it was sold after I'd procrastinated long enough. Cheers Adam PS If anyone fanices selling me a used supercharger, I'd be up for that too. Have paypal.
  15. Does anyone have a driver's side wing mirror arm spare? Someone vandalised my car and snap my mirror from the body. Mirror and electrics intact though. Thanks Adam
  16. Sorry, just to clarify....does any have a pre 06 air intake pipe AND MAF housing going for 350z???? Sorry for the confusion Adam
  17. Does any fancy selling me their OEM air intake pipe (NOT including MAF sensor pipe of course) Cheers Adam

    STOCK AIRBOX

Does anyone have a stock airbox for a pre-06 350z going? Cheers Adam
  19. Sounds good...what do mean no filter? As in no post 06 conversion? Mine is pre 06 anyway. How much do you want for it?
  20. Pre or post '06? How much? Condition? Thanks Adam
