I work in mental health, (though doing marketing and comms) schizophrenia is controllable and people do recover. I have lots of info and references and can send you when back in work on Monday. Pm me your email address

yeah will probably get worse as the situation gets more desperate and the gap between haves and have-nots widens!

have you got any japanese documents, take em to your local takeaway and ask em to translate (dont know if chinese is similar)

That sucks! would keep trying with insurance to make 100% they won't pay, might take some external pressure if possible.
my twin had his Ninja nicked from his work and got nothing as they wouldn't even cover him for theft in his postcode
have a hug!

fair enough! I guess as long as you drive sensibly you shouldn't get too much attention / hassle and I think the worst is a fine and removing them. Make sure you keep an eye out for cyclists / pedestrians in the dark though.
I saw a car once (in Brasil) that had all windows, including the windscreen limo black!
-
Similar system in Brasil with a card and auto barrier. My brother in law drives at them at speed and on the last road trip we did he managed to 'remove' one while passing through!
Seems it's all to do with Japanese Toll Roads :-http://www.accessj.com/2011/06/getting- ... eader.html
whats the card slot, is your car pay-as-you-go?as for the TC button it should be in that area, my guess is where the hole is. but you say there is nothing behind there? have you taken the dash off to look?
Sorry, a bit off topic, but yes this is for the Japanese highway tolls. You can stop and pay in cash at the manned barrier (which is what I always did) or fit an ETC box and then drive at the automatic barriers (marked by purple and white chevrons on the road).
At the very last minute the ETC box will beep and the barrier whips up out of the way. My brother loves driving at them at what seems far too high a speed and perfectly judging the time it takes to register and lift. He'll regret that one day...

looks smart but the front might be beyond the legal limit for tinting and you could get in vague bother if stopped? no limit behind the B pillar but front has to let a certain amount in and from the pictures they look quite dark??
-
Hope it's better looking than the old ones! Nice engines and plenty of power but I find them pretty ugly!
-
Looks nice and tidy! Would like to get rid of mine altogether but will never probably happen...

that's cool! One of my favourite bands ever!
-
fair enough, I was getting around 15 mpg on that older Aristo that was an auto and around town so 20 might be possible!???
-
Dude don't know if you care but the fuel economy on the Aristo is BAD! I much prefer my 350 to the Aristo I had (and you looked at!)

If you can drive in this with the Zed
Then you are a far better man than me. The snow was this deep for about 8 weeks the last two years running.
I would have trouble walking in that! never seen that much in London
-
haha I've heard its a bit grim up norf! yes you do get 100000x times better roads when the sun is out and I get stuck with traffic jammed / speed camered / speed bumped roads that are driveable most of the year but boring
I think it's hilarious how London stands still with two flakes of snow but don't mind as I normally get days off work for it
one day I would love a driving holiday in Scotland but want guaranteed sun and will have to remember to bring my passport!
-
Never known a car club where so many people put their cars away for winter! ??
Don't see the point myself unless conditions are really bad ie snow and ice. Don't want to pay out for tax and insurance and then leave the car sitting there? irreplaceable classics maybe but not Zeds? fair enough about gritters but in London that happens for a few weeks a year if we're lucky. Wouldn't lay her up for half a year though?
each to their own though! I'll be driving as long as theres not feet of snow which is unlikely in London. Scotland and those frozen northern counties might be a different story though
