Oh yes blipping the throttle on the downshifts like a boss! Great skill to learn for track driving, keeps everything smooth and balanced before turn in. I find it a lot easier if you're braking hard in the first place, lines the pedals up better.

Not taking the zed's on track, it will be the mad beemer, the Dark Knight and it will be with freshly upgraded yellowstuff pads, new discs and fresh racing fluid, so should be good.

my 300ZX twin turbo... went like stink (coming from a 1.8 MX5) had all the toys and the exhaust note was heaven (even if very loud). However had lots of mechanical problems and rust in line with a 20 year old Japanese car, eventually succumbed to a snapped conrod

Alright all, me and Ken and the Dark Knight are now booked in for a September trackday... Blyton Park in Lincolnshire, Sunday 21st of September with Javelin Trackdays. Currently just £129, and looking fairly quiet so far, so plenty of space remaining if anyone wants to come along. Also its a 105dB static limit (95dB drive by), perfect if you have a very loud car!

wow. the mind boggles at how stupid some people are, those are indeed the worst pictures I have ever seen in a car advert also MOT has just run out, yet somehow the seller has managed to buy 14 months of roadtax, as it doesn't run out until October 2015? on the plus side, its a bargain price, or rather its pulling down the value of zeds for everyone else...

I'd seriously consider upgrading to a Cobra resonated system from CS - yes Japspeed are a named brand, but since they're only stamping their name on cheap Chinese exhausts or something they're only one small step up from no brand name at all. They also have a reputation for poorly made, poorly fitting exhausts which discolour quite quickly. However Cobra offer a lifetime warranty and have a very good reputation among owners, definitely worth it for peace of mind and ease of resale if needed later down the line.

To be honest I think an S2K would be a great choice, what with a high revving bulletproof VTEC engine, and a decent amount of poke. if I had a bit more money I think I would go for one of them, albeit with brakes and tyres upgrades, but that's par for the course.

haha well I can certainly pitch in that attempting performance driving on Landsails very nearly didn't end well! Whereas Dan's Porsche on Bridgestones was a completely different animal, totally planted lap after lap.

Haha yeah you know its a dark tint when the tint is darker than the black paint! looks surprisingly flat through bends which is good.
