  2. I reckon that looks OK actually... certainly not as offensive as some kits I've seen!
  3. you won't be disappointed Wendy! Can't wait to drive Donington again!
  4. Just put my zed up for sale which might interest you... have a look at the link in my signature
  5. Well i dont know how i managed to stay awake during that race, that was proper yawnsville. Was hoping for a bit of a raikkonen vs rosberg fight at the end, but rosberg did his usual 'ahhh theres someone approaching behind me - better miss my braking point and make it really easy for them to pass' think i'll rewatch the touring car races again.
  6. Same for race 3. BTCC is hands down the best racing on TV at the moment, and donington is a cracking track!
  7. race 2 at donington - WOW. just wow.
  8. SOLD SOLD SOLD For Sale: 2003/53 Nissan 350z, Gunmetal Grey, 69,000 miles, FSH PRICE DROP: £Car now sold! UK car First registered November 2003 on a 53 plate 69,900 miles Full service history MOT'd until November 2015 with no advisories GT Pack (BOSE 7 speaker Stereo, Heated Leather seats, Cruise Control) Air Conditioning Brembo brakes 18†RAYS alloy wheels wrapped in Hankook tyres Cobra Resonated Cat-back exhaust Stubby aerial All three keys (two main, one valet) I have owned this car for the last 3 years and 2 months, and added 28,000 miles in that time. The car is totally standard, apart from two mods – the obligatory stubby aerial from Redline styling, and Cobra resonated cat back exhaust from CS. Engine sounds wonderful, really picks up about 3,000 rpm, and blipping the throttle on downshifts is an absolute joy. In fairness most miles have been commuting 20 miles along the motorway to work, but have done the odd longer drive out to wales and the odd weekend away. My average MPG is around 27mpg, since my fiance is often with me it doesn't get driven hard – and besides, I have a track car for that! Only selling as I fancy a change, the zed has been the car i've owned the longest as its been so good to me, but now I fancy something with 4 seats, German and turbocharged Full service history as follows: 5,411 miles – P1 (C D Bramall, Nov 2004) 11,833 miles – P2 (Evans Halshaw, Nov 2005) 14,977 miles – P1 (Evans Halshaw, Nov 2006) 18,869 miles – P3 (Evans Halshaw, Nov 2007) 21,659 miles – P1 (Evans Halshaw, Nov 2008) 25,796 miles – P2 (Evans Halshaw, Oct 2009) 33,576 miles – P1 (MGT Racing, Nov 2010) 39,808 miles – P3 Including belts and plugs (Advanced ME, Oct 2011) 47,177 miles – P1 (Lambsdons Motors, Nov 2012) 56,903 miles – P2 (Cougar Store, Nov 2013) 65,627 miles – P1 (Cougar Store, Nov 2014) In my ownership I have had the following bits done, mostly standard consumables: New rear pads (Ferodo DS2500) (Sept 2012) Rear drop links (Nov 2012) New front tyres (Hankook V12 Evo) (June 2013) Cobra resonated exhaust (October 2013) N/S rear wheel bearing (March 2014) Front Discs+EBC Redstuff pads (March 2014) New rear tyres (Hankook S1 Evo2) (May 2014) Front drop links (November 2014) At some point in the last 2 years it also had a new Bosch battery fitted. A few bad points... CD player skips – a common fault with the BOSE system. I use a cassette adapter and MP3 player or the radio, which both work perfectly. Drivers side window doesn't work – passenger side however is fine. Again a common issue, I just use the air con! As its a 12 year old car, the paintwork isn't perfect – front end has some stone chips and a bumper scuff front left, and the rear right arch has a rust patch (see photos) The interior has a few squeaks and rattles around the dash and boot area. All in all its a good, solid car, low miles, full service history, has never let me down. Has always been fuelled with Super unleaded petrol, and previous owner was also on the forum and also only ran super unleaded. The motor doesn't use any oil at all between services. Car is located in Leamington Spa, please PM me if there's anything i've missed or to arrange a viewing. More pictures available to view here: http://s292.photobuc...e?sort=3&page=1 Price Drop– £5,950. Thanks for looking!
  9. so.... if im reading that right, then before the alignment the fronts were actually toeing out? but those settings look sweet, -3.2 neg camber up front and -2.5 on the rear sounds like a recipe for success - looking forward to hearing how you get on at abingdon
  10. does it sound like its something rattling around in the boot, rather than under the car? does it actually clonk when going over bumps, or is it just road vibrations is shaking something thats loose? exhaust heat shields are known to come loose and rattle.
  11. sweet little perk you have there! if I had the money i'd have gone for a Gemini, they sound lovely. True Dual FTW!
  12. cougarstore intervals for spark plug changing says 'Spark plugs are also due every 5 years or at 45,000 miles' they look fine to me, just clean them up and put them back in i'd say.
  13. oooh sneaky, I was thinking, that's pretty keenly priced for a 2006 zed, but then right at the end of the advert I saw the four little letters 'CAT D' the same seller has another 2006 car for £6450 that isn't a CAT D - but that one's done 122,000 miles
  14. wow hadn't seen this had changed quite so dramatically! liking the bodykit and the wrap - looks like it was painted. and though i'd never have a lime green car myself, I can certainly appreciate it on yours. Although as others have said, not so sure on the blue of the wheels, the green is enough methinks!
  15. I saw you both in your little two car convoy - one black 350z, one brand spanking new white 15 plate 370z Nismo. looked lovely I tried to catch up and was going to sidle up the inside alongside the Nismo, but you booted it off just as I had to come off at Leamington. must have been someone on here, surely?
  16. Style: 7/10 Damage: 6/10 Attitude: 8/10 Story: 9/10 Verdict: Nice crash but I'd like to see a little bit more work on the front to up the damage score. Story is plausible and attitude is good. 7.5/10. style only 7/10?!? its on its roof! short of rolling it several times, fail to see how you could score it higher! damage, again only 6? theres barely a panel that's escaped there, that's pretty fubared. Attitude is top notch, cant fault a solid 8. story is a bit lacking though... swerved to avoid a deer, not doing it for me. a better story would have been 'lost control while attempting to evade pursuing gunmen down an Italian alp due to being noshed off by the presidents daughter' or something... but in all seriousness, very happy to hear your ok with only a few minor injuries . cars can be replaced, people cannot. and also glad the zed will live on as a drifter!
  17. Bianca is indeed hot! looks awesome in white
  18. One hopes that the big car hire companies will be aware of the change, but even so, we're hiring a car in spain just after the change - think i'll keep it till then just to be on the safe side. Assuming I can find it in the first place!
  19. depends entirely on the price! if its the same price as cars that do have evidence of service history, then buy the one with history. However, if the difference is £500, that would cover a P3 service easily for peace of mind. post up a link to the car and we'll have a look.
  20. yeah, jeez its awkward enough trying to get on the forum at work - thank goodness for a desk in the corner of the room!
  21. my pet peeve is dog owners who don't clean up after their dogs, and let their dogs just @*!# wherever they ****ing like on the pavement I mean for f***s sake how hard is it to clean up after your ****ing dog!?! i should not have to walk along the streets with eyes permanently scanning in front of me for the next useless mutt thats decided to take a dump on the pavement. next time i see a dog owner not cleaning up their dog's @*!#, i'm going to follow them back to their house, and then take a massive ****ing dump on their doorstep, see how they like a footfull of @*!# first thing in the morning. ARRRRGGGHHHHHH.
  22. the café shot was taken at the Compass Coffee shop, here: http://goo.gl/maps/aiSp1
  23. Im pretty sure its the A4069 from Llangadog to Brynamman, over the Black mountain. but there are loads of decent roads in south wales, should be a good day if the weather is nice!
  24. my test is full throttle in 5th or 6th when on a dual carriage way, you'll be able to tell pretty quick if the clutch is slipping as the revs will shoot up but the car wont go any faster. however, as it shot up and then immediately back down again it might have been a momentary loss of traction? i find that when a clutch starts slipping the only option is to back off the throttle, it wouldnt drop back down on its on.
