  1. Its called Buzz Magazine - viewable online: http://www.scribd.com/doc/87790693/Buzz-Magazine-2012 Page 26 amazing how google finds even obscure things in seconds!
  2. well the last torque figure certainly looks good but seriously, im amazed with the extra power you can get with hardly any boost... 6psi is nothing!
  3. nah, its not a ferrari replica, its a Noble M600 replica... In fact i can hardly tell them apart EDIT: Clutch is probably more reliable on the replica though...
  4. GONE to Leeroy! I'll whack it in the post for you now
  5. The magnetic ring type, with 350Z on the back. I bought one off ebay, but the company i work for took so long to deliver it from reception to my desk i thought it had got lost in the post, and the seller kindly sent me another one for free. However, the original one did finally arrive today, so i have a spare. so, to keep a good thing going and cos i have a stamp lying around, its FREE to the first person who PMs me their address.
  6. haha, stubby will be my first mod also when it arrives. Got my second mod already planned... a 350Z tax disc holder I know, pushing the boat out!
  7. Welcome! Liking the rims, definitely get some bolt on 20mm spacers. doddle even for an amateur, just like changing a wheel.
  8. Lol thats a turn up for the books! I feel for Matt Jackson though, i'm actually quite liking his driving and i think he deserved that win, must have been very frustrating. Happy that Shedden won in the end, from what i've seen over the past few years hes a solid dependable driver, but more importantly, he races cleanly!
  9. LOL... thats my fiance! lol.... well there you go then, weirdest compliment she'll get all year.
  10. hehehe totally sounds like im winning, mine was a 53 plate UK car, GT spec, FSH, 41k on the clocks for £6,800... definitely keep shopping around, although prices will be on the rise with the approach of summer (i bought mine the day it started snowing in february )
  11. Dave Briggs is rocking a candy red 350z in this years Formula Drift... which is nice! In car practice at Shannonville Motorsports Park: And then a little test session at Willowsprings: Really makes me wish i had an oval track in my back garden!
  12. +1 on the more exciting than F1, without a doubt. 16 laps of out and out warfare, especially the random grid reverse race Plus you can actually see the the thought process - the way a driver cut inside at the first corner, run side by side for half the lap, then finally finish the move at the old hairpin Plus with the variation in cars and tyres, you can actually track the progression of the cars through a race - for example the ballistic off the line pace of the BMWs before the FWD cars catch up.
  13. well there was some action at Donington! great racing again, a lot of respect shown with cars running side by side for a lot of the track. And then again not so much respect shown by other drivers... the usual culprits! However, say what you will about Plato, but 17th on the grid to 2nd across the line is an achievement... probably should have settled for third! I think i believe his story... only cos i can't believe he would risk not finishing at all to move up from third to second
  14. nice work! simple yet effective. who was driving the s2000 at the end? she had nice hands...
  15. any news? poor little Zedley has gone AWOL?
  16. get the current owner to put some petrol in, then see what he puts in it. that'll tell you what its been run on for his ownership at least
  17. looks very nice indeed! probably going to be going down the custom route myself, how much did it set you back?

    Wheels

18s are indeed cheaper for tyres, but if you're considering them for track work, you really cant do any better than RAYS, lightest wheel you can get, bar Enkei RPF01s i believe.
  19. people stopping at roundabouts when there is nothing coming is a right pain... as are people who pull away from junctions and go first, second, MASSSSIIIIVE PAUSE, then finally find third and continue accelerating - how hard is it to smoothly accelerate to 60mph in one go? another thing that i've noticed, people in small ecoboxes driving right behind slow moving lorries. Great, thanks, that just extends the length of the overtake i have to do. If you have no intention of overtaking, then pull back so that someone who is can pull in infront of you before overtaking the lorry.
  20. I have to say, +1 on the lingerie shopping... so much choice, could dress like a right slut. other than that, would probably have to video everything so that when i was a man again i'd have something to remember the experience by...
  21. arrgh a zed with a 4 pot just wont be right... they've had 6cyl engines for the last 30 years! my vote would be a small 3litre twin turbo... funnily enough exactly whats in the 300zx, only a lot more modern and cleaner. every man and his dog has a turbo'd 4pot, they're so common. and RWD will never die amongst enthusiasts, especially above the 200bhp mark - no matter how good a FWD car is with trick diffs and the like, it'll never be as good as a properly sorted RWD car.
  22. I like friends - the earlier episodes were great. Sure, you can see whats coming a mile off, and some of the storylines are a bit poor, but all of the characters (bar Phoebe) have their redeeming features and can come up with some great lines. Same with Big bang, some gems of comedy in there, but other bits are a bit hit and miss, and the later series have gone downhill. Admittedly its not the same as British humour, but its not supposed to be, theres a place for American comedy in the same way theres a place for British comedy.
  23. Hopefully not a repost... the original story is 4 days old now! Heres the story... Drive Australia on Nissan from what i read it says that the recent colaboration between toyota and subaru with the BRZ/GT86 has prompted Nissan to reconsider a small sports car for enthusiasts, which is great, and has led to some speculation about the rebirth of the S-line Silvia range, of smaller, turbo'd cars with all the right ingredients for a drivers car (low weight, fizzy engine, rwd, slippy diff) However, it might not be possible for Nissan to maintain a 3 car sports line, so it might be the next generation Zed that gets the downsize. Not really sure where Nissan can go with the Zed line other than downsize really, what with the push for greater economy effectively killing off the high displacement naturally aspirated engines of before (just look at BMW) and also the GTR only has a 3.8 litre engine, so the Zed could never go above that! I'm all for the rebirth of an S line style of car, but not at the expense of the Zed line - hopefully the 370Z will enjoy many hapy years of tweaks such as the 911s have enjoyed, without decreasing the engine size. The most important part of a zed is the V6 - even if a 4 cylinder turbo makes more power, it'll be a sad day if we lose the V6, since there are very few manufacturers still making them in sportscars. Thoughts?
  24. one point to consider, if you buy a higher mileage, but only then use it occasionally, it'll work its way back down to an average mileage car, so it'll be fine when it comes to selling it. However if you buy a low mileage car, if you ony use it occasionnally it'll stay an even lower mileage car, so when you come to sell questions will be raised as to how well the car was serviced if its a 12 year old car with only 40k on the clocks say. IMO, if you know you're going to be doing low miles, i'd get a newer car with slightly higher miles, and enjoy the better interior and engine.
  25. No, but i was watching the RAF flying jets and a Hercules around the welsh Valleys at low altitude yesterday They must have only been a couple hundred metres off the deck, as we were watching the jets flying below us and we were only at 600m at the time
