  1. Good job mate!!! Would love to have space for a garage like that. Don't think the girlfriend would be too happy with the amount of time that would be spent in there!!
  2. Thanks for the quick replys. The fronts are looking a little low so i'll check the depth properly when I get home. The rears are looking good, at least on the outside might check the inside at the weekend. Alex, this might be a silly question but when you gave the depth of the disks is that across the entire disk, or just one side i.e the inner or outer half of it? Many thanks, Lionel.
  3. Hello people, I'm just looking for some advice. I have used the search but it didn't bring anything up, maybe I missed it. I would like to know how much is the recommended minimum amount of pad and disk depth before they should be changed? I have a UK HR model with brembo all round. Many thanks, Lionel.
  4. Good luck mate, I'm sure you'll have great fun. You'll have to show up those German cars on the track. Hope you enjoy yourself!!!!
  5. Hi and welcome All depends on how much money you've got to spend? As just stated a good set of tyres will do wonders and good brakes. Also if your going up to see Alex i'm sure he has some Eibach Sway bars in stock, from what i've heard they're one of the best handling mods you can do too your car.
  6. It could be something simple like they've got the geometry wrong. If its done with the laser aligment its unlikely but not impossible. Or it could be something more expensive like the wheel has gone in a big pothole or maybe previous owner slammed a curb and damaged a tracking rod or similar? Not that the last bit is a definite but could be worth checking out? Maybe someone on here knows better. Hope this helps, Lionel.
  7. If they say they wouldn't repair i'd go with that TBH. The last thing you would want is a blowout esp if it happened on your 25% fun day. I beleive the tyre he was referring to was a Matador as i think they are rebranded cheap Conti's might be wrong though. I had them and TBH they were'nt very good. Not too good in the wet or dry, typical budget tyre. Hope this helps. Cheer, Lionel
  8. Ha Ha!! Thats one of the funniest threads i've read!! What did he get banned for? Surely he would have been good to keep around for a laugh. Only lasted 12 days!!

    New wheels

Brilliant choice on those wheels Looks amazing. Obviously all personal taste, but i wouldn't lower it any more, looks just about perfect. P.S where did you get those Vreds from? I've heard they are just about the best alternative to bridgestones and Michelin, but i can't seem to find any, i've tried my local fitters and Black circle as well as Camskills.
  10. I saw this video a year or so ago and had the same reaction shortly followed by Those crazy Giraffes. Wouldn't fancy getting caught by a swing from one!!!
  11. Looks a little older than a month!!
  12. I've only had mine for just over a month and have had a few people asking me about it, saying how nice it is. To be honest i get a little embarrassed I certainly didn't buy if for what other people think of it otherwise i probably would've gone for a BMW (no offence to any BMW owners!!!) or something similar, so i feel a lttle akward sometimes with the attention!!! I think people who don't know that much about cars when they see it because of the way it's shaped and the fact there aren't that many on the road assume its a very expense car. For example mine is a '07 plate with 25k on it and you would find it difficult to find an Top spec Impreza for similar money. Yet if you sat them side by side and asked the average person what costs more, i'd think almost all of them would say the 350.
  13. Hi mate, i'll take the Tax disk holder from you. Do you have Paypal? Cheers, Lionel.
  14. Very clean looking Black 350 drove past me while i was in traffic in Berkhamstead high street around 5pm.
  15. Hi matey, as stated get your wheels balanced, but just as importantly get them aligined properly. When i first got my car i had almost exactly the same issues. Felt fine until i got upto motorway speeds when the backend felt like it had a mind of its own!!! Very scarey!!!! I took it to a garage near me that has the proper laser alignment tool. Turns out the rear wheels where off my a few degrees, way over acceptable levels. The car nows feels perfect to drive, made such a massive difference. Also got the dealer to refund the work as it wasn't sold to me as it should have been. If you haven't had the alignment done yet that would be my first thing too do. Hope it helps. Regards, Lionel.
  16. Thanks for the pics, some stunning cars there. I hope to try and get along next year, really love the styling of some of those old cars. Love that plate on the Red McLaren! And the redhead!!!
  17. I must warn up it's stupidly addictive an more expensive than having a drugs and hooker addiction just usually without the happy ending Welcome and ^HA HA!!^
