  1. Hi, I need a 350z internal ultrasonic detector (Ceiling mounted) if anyone has one please. Mines fooked. Cheers
  2. Had it up to the garage. It would seem the internal side of the roof is gathering condensation which has been dripping onto the ultrasonic internals making it short, setting off the alarm. Anyone got a second hand one for sale? Lol.
  3. It just did it whilst their was very little wind. I've checked for bugs etc, and shut the vents. Still did it. For the moment I've had to open the car with the fob, then lock the doors with the internal central locking switch on the internal door card, and shut the doors. All the doors and boot are locked. It's a strange one.
  4. Hi, I have an 04 GT. This morning the alarm has started going off 5-10 minutes after locking the car with the fob. This happens every time I un-lock and lock the car. I have ensured all doors, windows, boot and bonnet are shut correctly and wiped the contact switches for the doors and bonnet. The volt meter in the car states 12v still. The weather is wet and quite windy. Any idea what could be the problem? Many thanks.

  6. Thanks for that, it passed its MOT on the 25th of June with no advisories. Would/should any of the causes have been picked up? I will have a look anyway thanks Alex.
  7. Hi, Apologies if this has been covered, even though I cannot find a verdict to my specific problem. Today randomly during a day out, a clicking noise appeared from the left hand side of the car. It sounded like from the back. I looked on here, but most stories of the 'clicky' driveshaft happened when setting off or reversing, however my 350 starts clicking at around 30-40mph getting faster as I drive faster? If a normal garage has to grease the shaft how much is the going rate? Or how easy is it for a novice to the DIY fix? Any ideas? Thanks
  8. My oil needs topping up however I am unsure what viscosity/oil type is in at the moment. Only had the Z a couple of months. The car has only ever been serviced at Nissan dealers if this gives any indication? Could anyone advise which to buy? Cheers
  9. Thanks for the help. I was contemplating the pipe section option, but didnt know whether it would cause complications later. But enough people seem to have chosen this route, so it cant be that bad.
  10. hi, Relatively new to the forum, and apologies if this is a repetitive post. As I have discovered my 04 GT the pipe from the back box has come away from the flange, where the centre pipe meets the back box pipe. I have been to the local welders and have been advised that welding will not solve the problem as the flange piece is corroded itself. Can someone please advise my potential solutions and where to get the problem solved? I am from Manchester/ barnsley (s yorks) I cannot afford a new system at the moment, with Christmas approaching etc. Any help would be appreciated Cheers
