Smudgeon is on the gt86 forums, he's got a supercharged gt86 these days, or he did when I was on them a few months ago.

You can also get a Toyota GT86 for the top end of your budget now although I'd expect they aren't great in snow and the rear seats aren't exactly practical.
As you mention the brake lights are dim I'd suggest its probably the brake pedal switch, really easy to change and doesn't cost much.
I had those lights come on and dim brake lights and it turned out it was the brake pedal switch.
Sounds like you used opentrack if there were free cakes and tuition, I did my first track day with them at Cadwell.
Bedford do seem to be very strict with the drive by limit, I think most places give you a warning so you can try and sort it out at least.

The fronts have Pirelli sotozerro w210 tyres in 225/45/18 size. They have around 6mm of tread.
The rears have Continental TS 810 sport tyres in 245/45/18 size. They have around 5mm of tread.

It could be that the power supply has broken, is there are life when you turn it on? Any lights showing that it has power?
Its possible to retrieve the files from the hard drive, the easiest way would be to plug it into another PC by putting it into an external caddy.
That comes as a surpise, but if your needs have changed then it had to be done.
