  1. Check your brake lights are coming on properly when the pedal is pressed, that should rule out the brake pedal sensor.
  2. Glad to hear you are all OK. I'd be shocked if that was repaired. You make it sound all so simple, it's been a month since my S2000 was hit whilst parked and they haven't even figured out a value for my car yet.
  3. Why do some people have no respect for other people's property?
  4. Hope everyone involved is Ok, having read the article it looks like they have cut the roof to help remove someone with a potential back injury.
  5. I've been playing destiny quite bit, got 3 level 31 characters. I've just started forza horizon 2 a couple of days ago too.
  6. was Had less than 40k miles on it too, a Greddy turbo conversion and tein coilovers with edfc. A special car, ruined.
  7. Yes, it was parked on Willowfield Road. Silver lining is that the zed wasn't parked behind it. It was moved more than a full car's length backwards uphill so would have hit anything parked behind, thankfully nothing was. Parked it opposite a street light but apparently it is still possible to not notice a bright yellow car. The owner of the uninsured car claims it was stolen from his drive, yet the direction of travel was going back towards the owner's home address. Police not interested in CCTV from a house outside where the accident happened which I've been told shows the accident and the driver. I hope my insurance company can follow it up more than the police have.
  8. It could have been worse... My S2000 with turbo conversion was hit by an uninsured car last weekend whilst parked. What's most annoying is that there IS CCTV but the police aren't interested.
  9. By that token then, what if it was a cat? twobears, Sounds like your neighbour is trying to help you protect your chicken, by alerting you its preventing the dog from attacking her if you can remove her from next door. What is your problem with the neighbour and what would you prefer she do?

In what way is yours broken? Mine has a plastic piece on the side which has snapped off and glueing hasn't been successful.

My ashtray lid has broken (not really sure how, I never use it as don't smoke) so I'm looking for a replacement ashtray for a 350z, pre-facelift if it matters.
  12. Thanks for the birthday messages. I didn't have as good a birthday as brillo had though by the sound of things
  13. A friend of mine is moving to Australia in May and he hasn't booked his flights yet, I'll send him the link.
  14. I can't recommend any garages that locally as I travel over to Lockwood and Greenwood in Manchester or have gone to Atkins motor engineers in Malton. There is a run out in the Dales next month I believe, Spatt is organising it.
  15. I'm in Halifax and my brother lives in Huddersfield.

  17. Personally I'm not a fan with the azure base, here's mine on a blade silver though:
  18. Why would paying monthly help? If you are setting up a policy for a year, paying for it monthly is just a way to spread the payments. The insurance company still expect the full amount to be paid overall for the year and then refund the amount left, minus the cancellation fee, admin fee and whatever other fee they can come up with. I would try your current insurer as KykeR suggeats as they can sometimes provide temporary cover like this. Because he said he doesn't want to fork out £600 only to get half of it back. If you have paid it all up front, you have little control over how much you get back, but if paying monthly (and your insurer doesn't require a bumper deposit) the worst they can do is not refund a couple of week insurance you've already paid for that month You don't really have any control over the amount you get back from a cancellation of a yearly policy, it's set out in the terms and conditions for that policy. If you cancel your monthly payments and refuse to pay the balance they will most likely just pass on your details to a debt collection agency to retrieve the remaining amount (that usually adds a fee). Not really worth the hassle is it?

You could buy the resonated one and then if its too quiet have the resonator cut out or try to do a swap.
