  1. Cheers, Its a respray Yeh fit over the brembo's no problem. straight fit no spacers. No rubbing with my set up, I've not checked behind the wheel to see what clearance there is there but i reckon i could possibly squeeze the bigger sizes on at a push, possibly would need more camber though or arches rolled. I don't want to commit and say yeh you'l be fine incase i'm wrong and you end up with tyres that don't fit under the arch lol.
  2. I'm only lowered on teins so not much (15-17mm off the top of my head) whiteline front and rear sway bars fitted at the same time and whiteline front drop links. Got a alignment done after I fitted all those and made a huge difference, still enough adjustment left for a little to play with. no rubbing etc with this set up either. I think if you go lower then you need to add in new camber arms etc to allow adjustment and would probably have to roll the arches depending on how much camber you have. I think my rear drop links are going to need changed soon so they will get upgraded to whiteline's and ill get another alignment done.
  3. I have the whiteline arb's front and back on the stiffest setting, massive improvement. I'd imagine if you tracked the car the difference would be even more noticeable
  4. Missed it due to hangover, ahh well there's always next year lol
  5. Anyone going? Tickets are £18 each! not sure it's worth £40 for a day out for me and the Mrs to be honest.
  6. Try pm'ing zmanalex or clark motorsports. I'm sure they have sorted other forum members out in the past for HR bonnets. Just had my DE bonnet done during the respray as it had a few bubbles and a few boulder stone chips, so far so good.
  7. Nah respray, vauxhall vxr green. Thought about wrapping it but it needed a lot of dents, scratches and rust sorted so didn't as was going to need almost a full respray anyway.
  8. Cheers man. Yeh not been out in it much, usually need the Mrs car for practicality lol. Been offshore for most events this year aswell unfortunately
  9. Cheers folks. 19x9.5 ET20 front 255/35 19x11 ET25 rear 275/35 No spacers No issues with rubbing etc, Not sure if i would maybe try a 285 on the rear next time to make it less stretched looking as i'm not that low so might not rub. I'd love to lower it more for less of a gap but struggle with the speedbumps as it is so can't go any lower. Got the tyres form oponeo.co.uk worked out much cheaper than any garage or dealer could supply them
  10. Finally got a decent day to get a few pics of these fitted, Big thanks to Rare rims for supplying them
  11. Eibach 20mm & 25mm. New wheels mean I no longer require these spacers, Ideal for anyone with the standard wheels, In good condition, no damage could be doing with better clean before fitting. Both £150 collected from FK2 9TL + £5 postage £80 each separate +£5 Postage. Stubby from tarmac, again no longer required due to doing away with the areal. £10 posted Any questions fire away
  12. Falkirk - custom 3" system with sports cats from stainless creations
  13. Sorted! Music cuts out when reverse is engaged, a little annoying but can live with it I suppose. Just can't get my Samsung s5 to supply Internet to the headunit. Just keeps reconnecting :s
  14. All wired up. Aerial has power and is earthed etc but not improved reception much. Picks up the BBC stations and that's about it. Just need to stick with my usb stick Till I work out how to use my phone as a wifi hotspot.
  15. Personally wouldn't touch cheapo ebay wheels as they tend to be soft as sh@t Not had any experience with that brand but would reccomend sticking to a proper dealer like tarmac or rare rims. I'm by no means a wheel expert but just my opinion
  16. bump looking to get this sorted when home so i can re build the internals of the boot
  17. is this the same for all the VQ35 engines? or just the HR? Never had to strip my DE down to know what it looks like under the timing chain cover
  18. might need a few gallon of bug remover!
  19. wheels will look 10x better once you have it lowered, all looks good though
  20. Haha just re read the guide again and it says pale green with silver band, so green and silver is been stuck in my head. The silver band threw me off. Atleast I got there in the end. Hopefully this will help anyone else struggling to install these in the future. 2 days to wire up a cd player and camera! I did all 4 springs, front and rear arb's and drop links in about 4-5 hours lol.
  21. Happy days!! Just took it for a drive for the 1st time to drop it off to get the spoiler sorted since someone decided to bottle it Sunday night. Found the solution! The green and silver wire is the indicator lol. Was positive the guide said green and silver. A few roundabouts and it quickly made sense why the music kept cutting in and out. Should be an easy fix now once I'm back in a fortnight. What colour is the reverse then?
