  1. There's also a guide on here somewhere that tells you how to strip and clean the carbon contacts which many guys have had success with.

    • Thanks 1
  2. If your young fit and healthy then you would be aswel getting now and get it over with since you will be able to just self isolate, moan, feel sorry for yourself and then soldier once you've ridden the storm. Its really just the older, weak and those with under lying health issues that will cause strain on the NHS. Treat it like when kids get the chicken pox?

I am by no means an expert  I just think the media is hyping this into more of an issue than it is when the majority of the population doesn't fall into the vulnerable category.

  3. Put your reg in to opie oils and they will give a list of recommended compatible oil. They're delivery is pretty quick and I'm sure the club still gets a 10% discount from then aswel.

If your going with motoul oil in your service and your cars using a lot of oil then prob best just to get 5L of motul for your top ups.

Are you addressing the oil consumption? or just going to keep feeding her oil?

Had someone today ask if i would take £10,000 for it. Its up for sale for £15,500. I now see why people use places like we buy any car now.

Its mental how people will try and knock so much off without bothering their hole to come and even see the car first. Why even bother? its always going to get knocked back.

Yep you've got it, the knob is threaded on so worth just giving it a tighten first.

If it keeps coming loose in the future might be worth taking it off, putting a drop of loctite on the threads then putting it back on.

Just don't use too much or else it'll never budge again

+1 for this, use the low strength loctite if you've got it.

Not going to jump for joy yet but I think it may have been the worst ever sounding belt slap lol. Took the toothed supercharger belt off which was missing a tooth and swapped the big long belt off the crank pulley that runs everything, fortunately have spare and it’s now quiet without the supercharger (need to swap that belt on Tuesday as it’s a pain to do) so fingers crossed it was just a stretched belt, should have known as the tensioner has been maxed for ages and it had been squealing badly on startup for a month.

What a massive relief that must have been, £30 belt to feck knows how much for a engine rebuild.
