  1. Shoulda pushed for the cargo net too mate. I want one, but not prepared to pay 89 quid for what is effectively some plastic clips, string and a bit of bungee!!
  2. Welcome to the forum mate. Blade Silver FTW
  3. On a similar note.....I drive 20 miles each day and the route consists of 60 mph roads and small villages with 30-40 limits; what gets me so MAD is these arrogant, unaware and dangerous motorists who drive at a constant 45 mph! In the 60 zones they hold everyone up causing lengthy tailbacks and increase the possibility of 'dangerous or risky' overtaking, generally caused by the building frustration at not progressing at a reasonable speed; then as they approach the 40 or 30 zones they continue at the same speed without a care for the local residents, children or pets that maybe crossing the road at any point. Why do they drive this way? Is it that they are just incompetent moron's? +2 Right on!
  4. I had the front mats in mine when I bought it, but no boot one. May treat myself soon. The part of the mat where your heel sits on the drivers side, has worn through completely and has gaping hole in it. Its the genuine nissan one too. Bit odd I thought. Maybe the previous owners Mrs drove it!
  5. This post isn't what I thought it was gonna be............
  6. My Honda Jazz owning wife just tried to break my screen Neither she nor I in our sixities drive in that fashion although we similarly get irritated by such drivers, of all ages and in a wide range of cars. When I drive the Jazz I tend to get to get the look as I overtake - bloody hell, didn't know those things could do that LOL, I was just generalising pal, sorry for any display damage incurred! Though to be honest, up this part of the world, 90% of the time, it usually is! That said, on my way into town yesterday, there was a Range Rover Vogue, being driven by what I can only describe as 'Maw' from the golden girls, and she was causing havoc by driving at 30 AND straddling lanes, making it impossible to overtake. She may as well have had a horsebox on the back to finish off the effect!
  7. Welcome to the forum fella. Hope the car does you proud, and nice to see your keeping it 'in' house with your purchase!! Pics, soon as please!!
  8. The platignum hair brigade, who have been in a car since before tests existed, and have their own version of the highway code, who tootle along at 25 to 35 mph (usually a honda jazz) and the convoy behind them, who wont commit to overtaking, so the queue grows and grows. I find overtaking in second gear, when you finally get to them, tends to be the first instance they are aware of 'anyone' behind them!!!! I think a retest every 10 years would be a good thing, as long as were not charged for it!
  9. ............with friends like these......
  10. I feel your pain!! Best of luck with the sale fella!
  11. Excellent. At one point though, I thought the audience on the far side were what was gonna stop him!
  12. Same here. When I had a 350, I lost her going into a corner in the wet (not that fast either)(and she snapped back in quite quickly) but it certainly gave me better traction with the car seat for a few seconds. No such scares with the 370 to date, but then its alot more tame as a whole so far anywhere...............thank god!!!
  13. If I had enough money to drive my ass down there pal, I'd be there in a flash. Would be nice to see another 370z upclose and personal, as havent seen another one other than my own honey!!! Happy supping on the Desp's...............wish I was there!!!! lonely 370 owner!!!

    Non GT

+1 on what the guys have already said. If you can get a GT model, go for it. Those 2 little letters after the 350z will make it alot easier to shift, though on the grand scheme of things, it may not make a massive amount of difference on a day to day ownership scope! Personal opinion buddy. I'm guessing you have already made your mind up!!
  15. Ive been looking for the "Vantage" look led's for my 370!!!!! Would be nice, but I dont know of anyone in UK has had it done, and therfore, perhaps its a bad idea!!!
  16. If I hadn't owned a blade silver Z before, as they didnt do that colour (as far as I'm aware) before the face lift version. I would have your car bud. Pure stunner. Especially with the arctic interior. WOOF! Either way, welcome to the club.......Z is the way ahead!

    Cats

I need 1 of those for an 07 HR Roadster... how much are they from Nissan? *Hides behind sofa* 1x Arm + 1x Leg + VAT I will speak to my parts rodent in the morning, plenty of time for a stiff drink The ones from the Nissan site, for the 370 at least are kissing 300 quid, if you want a Gucci one that is. Or you can get a one size fits all one off eBay for about 40 quid. Looks ugly, but keeps it covered. Not a cat person myself, but wouldn't get the car electrified!
  18. JDM FTW! Get the rays back on it. Blade silver looks better with the stock rays IMHO. If you like em though pal, then It's a moot point!
  19. Best of luck fella. Brilliant buy for someone. I'm pretty Sure I saw you down by Loch Lomond a couple of months back before I got my new Z.
  20. Bang for buck fella, the Zed is right up there, and its 10 times more reliable than the Aston. Probably as much fun too!
