i will be there with Outlawjapclub not to far from the traders area so will probably see some of you there, been organising the events on that club for 3 years now along side being a mod on there it takes alot of time to organise any event but well worth is so the members have a good time

OK the OBD now works so thats every element of the pc functioning now will get some pics of the OBD running tonight guys...

the Reverse camera was fitted without removing the Bumper im very good at getting cables through body panels lolit has only been fitted with a self tapping screw so far but this will be getting adapted to have expanding rubber nuts in there less vibration The acute angel gives me enough to see the back of the bumper which is all i care about if i can see it in the pic i dont need to go any further back lol haven't got the OBD working yet as it took me a while on the lexus i had to make some driver setting changes if memory serves so need to track it down again The centrafuse nav system came with the version i got so using it now lol the old system i built had Navmii as the nav and it did work better and was easier to navigate but the centrafuse fits better with the audio settings and the features for the road like flashing when you approach a round about etc...

The revo has been stuck in Place with strong and thick Velcro to help with vibrations I will be replacing the pc at a later date and upgrade to a SSD drive but the plan is to get everything working finalise all little tweaks then clone the system Guess I'm not well known enough yet to get lots or response lol

So here is the new Carnetix loom Made up and measurement made on where to run the cables as with 90% of my work i braided the cables and heat shrunk the ends Here is the new pc Location there is a gap under neath here which was ideal to store the PSU and any other ancillary items in so with that in place time to mount the camera So onto the checklist Rear Camera - DOne Sat Nav -Done AUX input on headunit - Done OBD Reader - Outstanding Fit New screen in cubby hole -Done Power New screen of same psu as PC - Done Automatic switching of rear Camera -Done Sort out poor audio quality - Done So with the above list 99% completed here is the finished article NOw the screen Now for a few videos

the item is shipped ready to mount from what i have had in correspondences, as much as i may want to keep standard parts i have no assurance they wont fail if the car is parked up and may end up paying out again within a year maybe less, with these the fans can be purchased and replaced easily it seems and a darn site cheaper than nissan

Hey all Just wondered how many pins are on the fan connectors are they just a 2Pin Fan wiring or do they have multi pin ? been looking into the fan problem i have here since i have an aluminium rad i was thinking of buying the Mishimoto fan shroud and fans as they are obviously an uprated part and replacement fans are cheaper than nissan should they fail again... here is the link to it http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalogue.p ... oduct=5451 anyone here had experience with them ?

oh and the one on the passenger side seems to wobble when rotating so im guessing its not to healthy

OK just had the AA out good new is no head gasket which would have been worst case scenario it had a EML light which was indicating over heat cant remember the code number now the fans are kicking in but the one on the right didnt but when i pushed the blade downwards it jumped into life..... the car had been sitting on the drive slight incline for just under 1hour when this occurred, have topped up all fluids and checked the system i reckon there is still a bit of air in the system now. do both fans activate together or is one a secondary or a slave fan ?

ok so had the car running whilst setting up the car pc and noticed steam from the front drivers corner quickly turned car off and opened bonnet the coolant tank in that corner was bubbling away squirting coolant towards the headlight Coolant was almost halfway up the bottle it's cooling off now and has dropped to almost empty Help!!!!

IM using a R3700 ITs all installed now but got a slight problem with the audio from the PC im hoping its just a software/hardware problem, its sounding like the board in the pc was being overdriven and to get a good level of sound the radio had to be at 31...... not good lol but yet if i used my laptop or my iphone the audio sounded great and worked great...

OK so let the fun begin So i have started on the CAR PC Spec as follows Acer Aspire Revo Carnetix P1900 LIlliput 7" Screen Logitiec Mini Keyboard/Joypad Joycon EX Rear Camera OBD Reader C200 Video Camera Input USB GPS Onto the fitting the standard housing that comes in the non nav modules doesn't allow enough space to fit a screen in the cubby as you can see below So i had to order a different unit once order it was time to get on with the fitting of the screen, no real pics of this as it kinda just fits in and gets glued in place.... but once fitted allows it to look like this So with the screen in place it was time to modify the computer to work with the PSU In order for it to work we have to make an additional switch input on the main board So computer before Computer with its top off Locate power switch board this is top left of the computer case Once removed it looks like this the contacts themselves are just a standard short to make connection effectively a normally open shorted to normally closed once connected to i then ran a cable through the case onto a connection on the rear. that's as far as i got tonight but here are the finished pics today the screen is being blurred out by my down lighter in the front room doesn't look like this when in natural light Rabs

do you have a picture of how the camera looks when on what is the viewing angle like ? do these cameras have the backup lines ? Cheers Rabs

Ok so i want to give the car a real good going over this weekend the outside of the car doesn't need to much attention but the engine bay could do with a little bit of love around bolt points etc is there any doos and donts for this ? i will be covering the airfilter up to stop any water ingress and clean whilst the engine is running to monitor how she performs whilst cleaning any stuttering etc i will move away from that area... any tips... well as title says im looking for a factory nav unit from centre of the dash. this bit dont care if the screen works failing that a definite part number to go and order the nav housing bits, direct from the stealership any help would be great guys
