  1. Be interesting to if it works on the Nismo with the added weight of the spoiler.....
  2. Up to you of course but I found it hard to ignore the fact that virtually every review I read when I bought my first 370 (and trust me, I read everything available at the time) said words to the effect that the 370 is a significant improvement over the 350. If you're happy with your 350 fair play - lots of people are, but I'd be willing to bet that if you got the 370 you'd be on here talking about how pleased you are with it. Seems to me that the fact your even asking these questions means you've got the itch to upgrade. The only question is how long you wait to scratch it
  3. Perfect time to get those alloys refurbed
  4. I did quite a bit of research on exhausts recently. Invidia is a popular choice and everyone who has one seems happy with them. As far as I'm aware the Grip would be significantly louder and definitely looks more like an aftermarket system compared to the Invidia's fairly stock look. They're both decent systems so it's probably just a matter of personal preference. Don't forget the Ark DTS - similar sound to the Grip but doesn't hang as low. I'm with Admiral - exhaust made very little difference to the payments.
  5. Awwww poor tree. Give it a hug before you swing the axe
  6. Sounds good. Glad you're happy with with it - easily the most crucial and worthwhile mod you can do on a 370
  7. In addition to the other points made in this thread, here are a few other things to look out for: -Boot failing to open properly when you press the boot release button (has occurred on all three of my 370Zs - you can either replace the springs or just live with opening the boot with two hands) -Side skirts tend to get peppered with stone chips (oddly doesn't seem to occur on the Nismo) -Wear on the alcantara parts of the interior e.g. where the door is pulled shut -Exhaust (rubbish) - ok not technically an 'issue' in the same sense as the others but in my opinion something you do need to consider when planning your budget (unless you're going to be happy with a car that looks and performs like a sports car but sounds like a generic family hatchback).
  8. Found this but it's not a very good quality video sound wise. I suspect the system sounds a lot better 'in the flesh'. From my own experiences of other exhausts it doesn't sound like an overly loud system (which is a good thing).
  9. Yeah you could hang around and say nice things about Zs to counterbalance the pair of them
  10. Still waiting for the video.....
  11. Arghhhhh Take that pink monstrosity off your car, put it in a lead coffin, fill the coffin with concrete, drop the coffin down a very deep well, fill the well with more concrete...........nuke the site from orbit.
  12. Er what is a 'sprinkle'? Oh and welcome to the forum.
  13. It's also the only place to be for 370s! Welcome
  14. I woulkd say that TBH even the Nismo is super rich fromt he factory and a remap with Uprev makes the throttle response much more responsive. Mark would the fact that I have the Stillen exhaust and Cobra HFCs mean greater gains/responsiveness from an uprev?
  15. I think this is the same car. (Nice to know that even the mega expensive cars' exhausts have a bit of rasp - 0.38 seconds into the vid)
  16. You have to be a proper grade A twonk to have a go at learners. It's only 4 years since I passed my test and to be fair most drivers I encountered were very decent.
  17. Cloth. I preferred the seats in my previous 370s but that's about all. Feels a lot nippier to me that my upreved Black Edition.
  18. Great write-up Will. Very balanced. I agree that the handling is the real winner on this car. One thing I would say is that the bumper colour match issue on white 370s varies from car to car and affects all white 370s to some extent. The match on my Nismo is much better than on my first 370z. I am very very picky about this sort of thing and I'm happy with mine, but fair play if you prefer the black I prefer how the white shows off the different colour parts of the body kit better. Also agree re the seats. The only downside to the Nismo for me is that I much preferred the leather seats. (Cloth ones are a fluff magnet too!). Just a thought...if you do end up going for an ex demonstrator you could get a good bit of money off, swap over your Stillen and sell the Nismo system Brand new one on Autotrader for £32k here http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201404113243563/sort/default/usedcars/model/370_z/make/nissan/page/2/postcode/tw14na/advert-type/standard-listing?logcode=ucnnp
  19. Can't vote unfortunately as not on fb but very impressive work!
  20. We all know you're gonna buy it. You won't be disappointed
  21. Thanks for your comments. I did not have the car long before changing the system so I can't really comment on whether the exhaust got louder over time. I added high flow cats, which made a small difference, but it still wasn't quite enough for me. I'm happy with sound now and certainly won't be looking to go any louder
