  1. Hmmm that's not cruel and wrong in so many ways....
  2. It's odd that everyone on this forum seems to claim to keep in the left hand lane but the only 350Zs and 370Zs I've seen on motorways always seem to be powering along in the right hand lane. Same goes for GTRs (and every single BMW or Audi repmobile). I, of course, keep to the left hand lane at all times.
  3. I generally find people around our area, e.g. Richmond / Twickenham etc fairly courteous. When we go up to my other half's mum's for lunch in a Amersham (Bucks) it's a different story for some reason. Very few people let you out at junctions and not many people say thanks if you let them out.
  4. Agreed on all of that.
  5. As far as I can see the problem isn't speed, it's driver behaviour - tailgating, phone using, poor lane disciple etc etc.
  6. I might struggle to resist adding one of these to my PS4 when the remastered Halo series is released.
  7. While the look of your car isn't really my thing, your commitment to the project is really something and it's obvious from the build thread that a big part of it is about mates working together
  8. Congrats for acquiring a nice possession at a young age through hard graft. Enjoy your car (I'd be giving the dealer some stick for claiming the car had a Nismo exhaust on it).
  9. If 90s dance music is your thing I may not be of much use but my random list of bands worth checking out is..... Pixies The War on Drugs Broken Bells Death Cab for Cutie Arcade Fire A Place To Bury Strangers The National The Babies Vaccines Killers Doves East Hundred Nihls Frahm The Hold Steady London Grammer Future Islands Older stuff I like a lot...... Rush Marillion Metallica Guns N Roses Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin Jackson C Frank Neil Young Jethro Tull James New Model Army Pogues Stone Roses Charlatans Suede Sleeper Smiths Could go on all night....
  10. Relaxing by the hotel pool in Lake Garda wishing we weren't coming home tomorrow.....
  11. I suspect the Invidia and HFCs combo sounds quite similar to my Stillen and HFCs set up, in which case I can understand why you're so chuffed with it

    The R33

That was my experience of TGM when I needed work on my previous 370 - pricey but worth it if you want an invisible repair. Good to hear you got it sorted.
  13. You might want to check the thread that began on the 350 part of the forum in which a certain owner felt the need to reassure himself by slating the 370.
  14. Real men synchro rev match! (You can have that one for free)
  15. He means it's apparently purple
  16. I'd benefit greatly from shedding some of my excess middle aged man weight.
  17. As someone who does think the Nismo Z is worth the price hike (yes I know I'm in the minority) I'm not sure I would pay the extra for the Nismo GTR. The standard car is already epic performance wise, any more grunt seems kinda unnecessary.
  18. Yep I was pretty chuffed to see such a rare and awesome car
  19. On holiday and I'm walking down a road seeing all the boring generic Fiats etc then one of these beauties goes by. No time to take a snap unfortunately. I believe we're not far from the factory. It was going quite slowly but some nice pops and crackles from the exhaust
  20. nah - never happen - not to me anyway I have started early on the GTR indoctrination. I'm probably gonna hang on to the Z for two or three years at least but I've got a mountain to climb. At the current time the response is "but they're just so big and ugly".
  21. Don't, at the age of 12 or so, tie your army cadets jumper around the handle bars of your bike as you ride home down a hill as fast as possible. If it slips off and into the front wheel you might wake up 10 metres down the road with a nasty concussion.
  22. I looked at this way, it cost me roughly £500 including the petrol. I simply felt in retrospect that I could have spent that amount of money on something that I would have got more enjoyment or value out of (car related or otherwise). But as you've seen, others feel that it definitely was worth it for them. Unfortunately, unlike a physical item, you can't take it off and recoup some of your money by selling it if you decide it wasn't worth it. On the other hand, it's not going to do any harm.
  23. No doubt Will. Probably down to each individual car and personal perception etc.
  24. When I had the Uprev I wasn't in the Nismo. The upreved car was a manual. Yep the Nismo feels noticeably nippier than my upreved 370.
  25. I had an uprev on my last 370. I had a Stillen exhaust and HKS filters. Personally I didn't feel that the difference was very noticeable in the way the car drove and not worth the outlay. Yes I had a graph telling me I'd gained a few HP etc but the driving experience wasn't sufficiently different for the money. No criticism of the work - done by Abbey - first class outfit, just didn't feel it was worth it for me.
