Don't know but that is one odd looking colour. Don't want to sound negative but for what they're asking I'd strongly suggest looking for a 2010 or later car with the Connect Premium sat nav. There's a black one on Autotrader for the same price - 24,000 miles and its a 2011 car.

Good to know that red is going to be available. The Mk1 looked great in red but it wasn't available here.

Great documentary earlier this week about how the Soviets were the real pioneers of the space race. Proper interesting stuff (but the animal lover in me was very sorry for the poor stray dog they sent up on a one way trip, especially as it was little more than a publicity stunt).

Follows the format of a lot of modern TV really though doesn't it? I love it.

The Black Edition 370s had quite a stealthy look which I liked a lot, but if you do it yourself it's easy to go too far and give the appearance that you're trying just that bit too hard to look like Mr Cool in his Coolmobile. Whatever you do, I'd say keep it fairly subtle. Less is more

I've tried quite a few QDs including some quite pricey ones. For the money though, Demon Shine is surprisingly good - about £7 for a big bottle.

Looks great - is that a wrap on the roof? The Lotus Evora Sports Racer (definite contender for my next car) has a gloss black roof and I reckon it looks really good. Yours look good.

It's interestng how someone whose not into cars reacts to GTRs. My other half refers to cars she likes the look of as 'pretty'. She thinks our Z is pretty but she cannot get her head around what anyone could see in the GTR. I like the look of them because they're like an anti-super car. None of the curves of a traditional super car but very unique and imposing.

One of the worst examples of driving I’ve seen in a long time: Driving back from lunch near Petworth (Sussex) yesterday on a stretch of fairly twisty and uneven road, behind a Ford Ka which was admittedly a bit on the slow side, but no big deal….. Suddenly, a beat up old Volvo estate with a table strapped to the roof appears and decides to show what an ‘alpha male’ he is by overtaking me and the Ka, finds himself head on with a car coming the way and has to dive between me and the Ka to avoid a massive collision. If I’d moved up to fill the gap, he’d have been totally screwed (but then so would the other driver.) Both me and the driver of the oncoming car let him know how we felt….

Alternatively, rugby is a game played by large chaps who like to cuddle each another. I can say this because my other half refers to the scrum as the 'cuddle.' She's not a sports fan.

Seems unlikely that if you dislike the Mk1 to drive, the very minor differences in the suspension of the Mk2 would change your mind. Similarly, although the Mk2 seats look much nicer, the seats in the Mk1 are actually pretty good in terms of being supportive etc. Testing the Mk1 might at least help you to decide whether to wait for the Mk2 to make it over here……….

You might get to drive the Ver. 1 but when did they tell you could test drive the 2015 model? They have one on order down in Romford allegedly, although I don't have an exact date yet. They reckon about a couple of weeks though. Aesthetics aside, I expect you'd get a fair idea of whether you want one from driving the MK1.
