  1. I think a good amendment to the policy would be for members who have been registered for at least a year, but have a sub 100 count to be able to ask the mods to pre-approve a listing.
  2. It's about the easiest mod you can do. 1) Carefully pry out the surround piece and button by sliding a trim tool under it. 2) Unplug the wire harness. 3) Slide the button out of the surround piece. 4) Slip the new button in to the surround piece. 5) Plug in the wire harness 6) Push the surround piece back into the dash (it will click into place). As an optional extra, you can also replace the button surround with the red Nismo one at the same time.
  3. When your ability to spell "too" correctly starts to go.
  4. Any way of including an indication of whether items are in stock and if not what the lead time is?
  5. True re Nismo reviews although I've often wondered if the review vehicles were wearing their shipping spacers.
  6. I never really noticed much difference in ride quality going from GT to Nismo then back to GT again. It's not great either be perfectly liveable.
  7. Even the louder systems quiten down after start up and most don't tend to wake up until you go past 3k revs. Plenty to choose from. Ark grip seems a popular choice these days.
  8. The Nismo exhaust is a nice bit of kit but it isn't much louder than the stock GT system. Stick the Cobra on.

    370Z Nismo

If it's the facelift version check for wear on the Recaros. No real issues with the Mk1.
  10. Lots of great info there and a very tidy looking car. It might be worth making the price a bit more visible - took me some searching to spot it.
  11. My GT has 50,000 on it with virtually no sign of wear on the seats.
  12. Shockingly poor. There is no way Nissan can justify trying wriggle out of replacing the seat.
  13. 'fraid I have to agree. A shouty headline but nothing concrete. Still, we can hope.
  14. My regard for 370Zs is demonstrated by the fact that I've owned four and sold a remapped A45 AMG that cost nearly three times as much as the car I replaced it with just to be back in one, but sometimes you just have to be realistic. I think the 370Z Nismo is a great car but it drives similarly to the standard car, whereas from everything I've seen and read (which is a lot because i was thinking about buying one) the Evora 400 is in a different class (as it should be for the silly price they now seem to be). Looks are subjective, but objectively the Z looks like what it is - a GT car with a body kit; the Lotus looks like what it is - a sports car with supercar looks. And you don't need an aftermarket exhaust to make it sound good.
  15. I don't think the GT looks dated at all. In fact since returning to a Z (GT) having owned two GTs and a Mk1 Nismo in the past, I have come to appreciate the less shouty look of the GT more. Perhaps it's because I'm knocking 50 and I'm getting boring in my old age, but in the right colour, I actually prefer the GT - it looks good, but not like it's trying too hard to look sporty.
  16. Yep the 400 seems to be more pricey than it used to be when they first came out.
  17. Ignore him. The Evora 400 is a stunning car that goes like stink and sounds as good as pretty much anything else on the road. It's critical failing is being badly overpriced. Later versions of the earlier gen Evora (2012+) addressed a lot the faults of the earlier cars, but are still flawed. If you can live with the flaws and have the budget I would take a 2012/13 S in Sport Racer trim over a Nismo 370Z. (I say that having owned a Nismo and liked it a lot). They're a proper little super car.
  18. They seem to be available for US models. https://www.z1motorsports.com/door-lock-and-handle/nissan/oem-370z-exterior-door-handle-p-11830.html
  19. Very nice. Why are you selling?
