  1. Nismos certainly generate a lot of interest. Amongst the usual stares and people craning their necks on the M25 yesterday I got this when slowing donwn to pass some horse riders in Sussex - "Hey look a 350Z".

    VX220

I had an encounter with a VX220 today. Trundling along in a line of three cars with a slow old biddy at the front and me at the back on a set of fairly twisty roads - he came up behind us and decided to show how quick he was by overtaking all three cars at once ending his overtake on a blind bend and not far from colliding with an oncoming motorbike.
  3. I like it. I can't afford it
  4. I think that about Wales Seriously though, the GTR Nismo is out of my price range but it's such a mean looking car in black. I'd have one in my garage when the lottery numbers come up. And just to add another example of house price silliness - this is very close to us: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-33227832.html
  5. First one I've seen on sale. Looks flippin' awesome.... http://www.redlinespecialistcars.co.uk/used-cars/nissan-gt-r-knaresborough-201504032322031
  6. What he said. There is newer facelift model of the Nismo. The newer model has the same engine and cabin tech. It has some snazzy Recaro seats which are undeniably better to look at the Mark 1 seats. I've actually grown quite fond of the cloth seats the longer I've had them though - very comfortable and supportive. So....if you want a Nismo its really down to which one you prefer the look of and whether you want to pay the difference if you prefer the look of the later version. From other threads, most people on here seem to prefer the look of the Mk2 but I think the Mk1 looks more 'Nismo' and I love the hefty spoiler which disappeared on the Mk2. Just a matter of personal choice in the end. The exhaust is still fairly tame so you'll want to budget for a replacement.
  7. Yes it says 98 on the 370 cap too, but the advice from people including Mark at Abbey is that 97 and above is fine. I've used 97 in all three of my 370s because that's the RON of the non standard stuff at my usual fill up station (Esso). I dont think 97 RON is routinely available in Japanese petrol stations, which might explain the reference to 98 on the 370 cap(?) The key thing is to avoid the standard stuff.
  8. Just use 97 or above and you're sorted
  9. I'd say in about six years of owning three different 370Zs I've seen less than ten other 370s on the roads (only one of which was a roadster).
  10. Looking forward to reading how this goes. I usually change my car every few years but recently I've been thinking I might hang on to the Nismo. If I do I'd also be thinking about a SC. Good luck with the build.
  11. Poor car. Seem to remember it was bumper and wing, and the very difficult to properly match pearl white paint that I have on my Nismo. They'll be needing a good body shop....
  12. I ended up getting the Nextbase 402g after quite a bit of research. It's not the smallest camera but works really well.
  13. Interesting. My other half loves the gear position indicator. She'd be lost without it.
  14. There's no problem with it as such but the vast majority of people go for the GT pack.
  15. Insufficient head-turn factor for me. Great cars no doubt but i don't feel like Id like to own one when I see them.
  16. Cameron completely ducked Paxman's question about whether he could live on a zero hours contract. (Not that politicians ducking questions is remarkable).
  17. PS Here's a good video of how to spot fake IE80s. Mine pass all of the tests mentioned in the video.
  18. Hi Mike I would be very suspicious of anyone selling these new for anything in that price range. They could well be fakes. I researched carefully before buying mine and checked to ensure they were genuine. They are still £200 plus from most recognised retailers. I am of course open to sensible offers from anyone interested in them. It's my birthday soon so I'm going to splash out on some Shure SE846s
  19. Sennheiser IE80 in-ear earphones for sale. Currently retail on Amazon for £269.00. I am asking £115 £75 which will include registered next day delivery postage. Excellent condition and work perfectly. http://www.amazon.co...d/dp/B005N8W27I Absolutely brilliant sounding earphones - the difference between these and a pair of bog standard earphones has to be heard to be believed. Sample review from What HiFi below. http://www.whathifi....ser/ie80/review I am selling as I like to try different types of earphones every few years and I feel like a change. They have an interchangeable cable which means that if the cable wears out (they all do, eventually) you can just buy a new cable instead of having to buy a whole new set of earphone. I replaced the cable on these a few months ago. There is a small selection of accessories as pictured including some spare tips. You can also order more from Sennheiser or on Amazon. Please PM me if you want to grab this great bargain
  20. Or......how come every badly behaved little brat now has some behavioural disorder to make their behaviour excusable. My diagnosis is usually 'little sh*t'
  21. I can confirm they are indeed niceeeeee
  22. I believe they have discontinued selling them here. Not sure if they've discontinued actual manufacture though. There is a Nismo Roadster in concept form I believe, which looked quite nice, but no idea if/when that will be on sale here.
